Nationwide confusion

Hi all,
In the past I have always used my Nationwide debit card for cash withdrawals and spending abroad - I am now aware that due to the change in their terms this is no longer a sensible option! I also have a Nationwide credit card (current card was issued in May 2010).
I have read Martin's article on the cheapest travel cards, and he says that if you have a Nationwide card then it's probably not worth changing. However, I notice he specifies 'Gold' card - which isn't what I have. Am I right in thinking it would be best to just jack it in and get a card/account elsewhere? Or is it worth hanging on to? It's all very confusing
This year I am mainly travelling outside of the EU (Russia and Canada).
Thanks in advance!

Gold card refers to the credit card. Debit card? Get something else, perhaps from Metro Bank.0

Ah, ok, thank you very much! It was the 'gold' bit that was confusing me, as my Nationwide credit card is very much blue (as is my debit card, albeit a different shade)
So the credit card is worth holding onto - I shall take a look at metro bank for a debit card!
Thanks again
