Just ask for PAC code from T-mobile and give to O2.0

Just try this. If the phone is unlocked, it will work with the old sim. If it doesn't you can unlock it (free for some handsets). It makes sense to pay for unlocking only if you want to stay with T-mobile.Superwoman wrote: »I have a T Mobile PAYG at the moment, but have just bought an O2 PAYG phone, does anyone know if i can keep my original phone no. as i've had this number for years, would i be able to put the present sim card into the new phone?
Otherwise, if you don't mind switching to O2, do what suggested above. I.e. port your old number to the new sim (and network) using Porting Authorisation Code (PAC).0
