Carphone Warehouse - Worst Customer Experience I've Ever Had

I've just come off the phone with the carhone warehouse as the new contract phone I ordered on the 19th (with next day delivery) hasn't arrived. This has been the third time I've had to contact them about this phone and I haven't even recieved it yet.
Firstly I contacted them on the 22nd when it hadn't yet arrived despite having made it to my local DHL depo at 08:00 the previous morning. Turns out somebody in their office requested a return to sender on the wrong order no. and my phone was on it's way back to them. The woman I spoke to said she would arrange to get it re-directed back to me to arrive on the following day and call me back within 2 hours. I recieved no call and ended up calling them back five hours later to speak to a different gentleman. He assured me that the first woman had been in contact with DHL and that due to the bank holiday it ought to arrive today at the latest, and that the original woman would call me before the end of the day to confirm this (again, I recieved no call).
Finally, to rub salt in the wounds I received an e-mail this morning welcoming me to my new contract phone and all the glorious things I could expect it to do. When I checked the DHL tracker it turns out my phone was signed for today by a gentleman in Lichfield (I live nowhere near Lichfield). I contatcted the carphone warehouse again to be told that the order never was redirected and had arrived back at their warehouse where they took the liberty of cancelling my contract upon my return of goods BUT if I wanted to I could 're-order on their website today and my new order should arrive tomorrow or the next day'.
Clearly I told them I wouldn't even consider it but I figured if there's anyone else out there considering buying a new mobile phone from them, especially if they need it urgently, to perhaps reconsider

I can. They're pretty bad and I'm having a very similar experience with a cpw clone right now - plus will be suing another one on separate issue in due course (and it won't be the first time!).

If it's any comfort I'm still waiting for my phone from phones4u, it's almost 10 days since ordering:mad: Sorry I didn't go direct with 02.
I've been told awaiting stock, you would think it would be possible to know if it was in stock when you order!

When I had a fault on my phone it took them 3 months to get it back to me.
It was under a gurantee and insurance that I was paying extra for and it was a minor fault.
    They are a joke.
