Cleaver, a quick question

Do you post on any other boards, your style is very similar to a poster/s that spends nearly all his working day on a handfull of other boards.
OK!!, i will not beat around the bush:), are you doing what you are doing for a living in anyway, or do you maybe work for a vested interest who's job it is to discredit posts they do not like.

There is a chap called Kingofnowhere that has been posting fulltime nearly every single day for years now on a handfull of sites that discuss property, just thought you might have an idea who this gentleman is?:)

i love your image of the world - one were "vested interests" (presumably these are shadowy organisations like opus dei, the illuminati and the daily express) pay people to scan lightly used internet forums with a limited readership for posts they do not like which they then systematically discredit using sarcastic jibes.

During Gordon Browns short reign a group of lowlife were caught out doing just what you claim is not going on, of course Gordon distanced himself and sacked them on the the spot.
If they had not been grassed up who knows what else they would of got up to, and who knows how long and how many other groups are out there mischief making

of course it is going on - you can see it on these forums whenever someone posts something about a e.g. dodgy property management company, you get a load of newly registered users popping saying how great they are.

or when a user called the_fox gets banned and reregisters under a new name and posts a rubbish post suggesting that the illuminati are after him.

& then there's the McTavish, Norris, Pimp1, etc. cluster, without whom Britain's social fabric would have disintegrated. Any suggestion of their having a vested interest on a forum that one would think was 'for the people' is of course nonsense.

No, I only really post on this forum and I kind of stumbled across this place by accident. I came on for advice about a mortgage, or phone contract, or something like that, then saw a post from !!!!!!? (a great poster, even though I didn't agree with anything he said) which I had to respond to. Then I just stuck around.

Just recently I've started posting every now and again on some of the Interactive Investor forums for some of the shares I'm invested in, but a lot of that is just back and forth bickering (a bit like here) so I tend to filter out the useful bits to read more than I post. Oh, and I'm a member of the Road Trip America forum, as I wanted some advice before, well, you've guessed it, doing a roadtrip across America. They are a very nice bunch too. Haven't posted on there for a few years though, and only made about a dozen posts in total. As I say though, lovely people and can very much recommend them to anyone travelling through the States.

Do I work 'discrediting posts'? What do you mean? You think someone would pay me to make two or three half-ars*d responses a day to silver and gold obsessives on a forum that 12 people a day read? If there is actually someone out there willing to pay me to that then I'm more than happy to sign up, just put a contract in front of me.

No idea who Kingofnowhere is. What's his opinion on property then? Not sure if you're fully aware of my posting history, but I'm actually quite bearish on property. Don't see any capital rises for probably five to ten years and, although I see stagnation as the likely medium term future for property, I would personally say that falls are more likely than rises if I had to choose.

Could you point me in the direction of some postings that you think my style is similar to? Then maybe me and some other posters on this board can guess whether we're the same people. That's probably more entertaining than discussing 0.1% haliwide movements.
