Sky TV

Hello, about to move into a new house. I was just wondering, what would be the best deal with cashback etc at the moment. I was looking for best deal with either

Sky+ with most basic subscription – best quidco rate and vouchers?

Or

Freesat package – not sure if you get qudico with this or any vouchers ?

Freesat will never give cashback offers - they have no subscription revenue coming in to subsidise such giveaways. FreesatFromSky will cost £175 and include receiver, dish and installation - with freesat (the BBC/ITV version) you will have to pay for receiver, dish etc and installation. Sky subscription will include receiver and standard installation.

Since Freesat is a free service, not quite sure how you think you can still get cashback on it?
!!!!!! does not give you Sky+ functions, to have those off-subscription you have to pay Sky £10 a month.
Freesat PVR functions are of course free-the only outlay is the box and dish/LNB if not already installed.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

It is a non PVR single tuner HD box - the DRX595 - see here-

No iplayer or PVR functions yet.

Skr are doing free m&s vouchers, but the offer ends today.

I'm going to wait it out and see what they offer next as several people have found that they don't receive their m&s vouchers
