So you could argue that it is safer to exceed the speed limit whilst overtaking so that the manouver is completed in the shortest safe time period possible, as long as you reduce your speed back to the limit after the overtake, which you did.

Even if it doesn't cause an accident, god still kills a kitten every time you exceed the speed limit!!

Feel free to drive like an a55, cut people up, ram into cyclists, screech around corners, do handbrake turns, drive at 30mph the wrong way down a motorway, etc etc etc
As long you do not break the speed limit, nothing can possibly happen......

No, you are wrong. It must be served within 14 days of the alleged offence. If posted in time and by the correct method, it is deemed to have been properly served. However, this is rebuttable, if it arrives out of time or not at all.

Speed kills, only speed kills! nothing else causes accidents!
OAP drives 30mph the wrong way down the motorway, has a head on collision which causes a 50 car pileup, BECAUSE the other car was doing 73mph!!!!!!

Something has to die if you break the speed limit, it's common sense because SPEED KILLS! it's the law!!

Most if not all fatal collisions involve a moving vehiclce therefore 'speed kills'.;)
