Cheapest you can genrally buy is a ZTE F107 or ZTE F102 both are £29.99 but they are discontinued so you need to find a store with one in stock,

BTW all 3stores have a 14 day return policy for signal issues, just make sure signal checks are done when you buy, plus 3 signal is pretty much the same as anyone else nowadays and a heck of a lot better for mobile internet!

thanks for the reply, i have read that they give you a 14 day return but i figured it would be a lot less messing around doing it this way as from what i have read on here their customer services leaves a lot to be desired! i will check out them phones thank you x
  • You might want to check the '3' thread which is at the top of the mobile forum - Some people have no problems with their service whilst others report major issues. Also looking through the threads its almost impossible to get out of contract with them even if you have used the 'signal check' and your phone fails to get a signal.

thats what i thought! once they've got you in a contract they are not gonna let you out of it!!! so i figured try pay and go for a month and i should get a good feel for the network!! i have read the 3 thread and there are some very conflicting views, people either love 3 or hate it!! my current phone, samsung tocco light is nlocked but wont take the 3 sim for some reason, so im just going o buy a cheap 3 phone, try it out and make my mine up as they are the cheapest by far from what i can see :D

They are the cheapest and offer really good deals as long as you can get a signal of course:rotfl:

  • Be warned the type of phone makes a huge difference too - both in the quality of the antenna and the way they display the signal strength.

I've got an old Three Skype phone here and it is far better at picking up a mobile signal than my HTC Desire or my old Nokia 5800. A weak signal on the Skype phone might mean an unusable connection on my modern phone!

The Tooco Lite is only 2G and you need aa 3G phone to work on 3. Savers often have 3 mobiles for sale.

My nokia n73 has better signal than my mum and dads cheaper skype phones they bought few years ago.

So yes it does make difrance on phone ,If you live near or use your phone on the three map where it says no mobile internet maybe its best to try where my dad lives every single mobile network dont work well inside lol hes in a black spot and black spots tend to be same on all networks but not always.

Have checked GiffGaff prices on paygo they are very cheap if you want mobile internet uses 02
