Hi thankyou for all your advice. Am going to phone the vets when they open at half eight. He is still not eating. My dh tried to talk him for a walk this morning, he got excited as normal but when they got outside, our dog was sick, it was green, he does have a tendency to eat grass. We have given him his food this morning and he won't eat it. My dh has offered him some of his breakfast and our dog comes over sniffs it and then walks away. Last night i gave him some pork which he likes, he put it in his mouth and then dropped it out.

Our dog has never turned food down, he would eat lots if you let him. Usually he eats his breakfast and then acts like he hasn't been fed.

He could still poo depending on where the obstruction is and how long ago it occurred, main thing is that op gets the poor thing checked out. My Lab X swallowed an 8 inch beanbag lizard as a youngster and still was still pooing 2 days later as it was stuck higher up, he eventually vomited it up on the third day (we had seen the Vet of course)

Hope you get on ok op, do let us know how you get on...

Our dog has started to eat again. We are going to see how he is the rest of the day. Also won't be using kennels again.

Don't blame you. Looks like something seriously upset him there and it's not like the poor little guy can tell you, is it?
