Thanks for the replies everyone, very kind.

I think 1and1 is looking good so far. Its the same price as 123reg but email is £0.69 per month and you can add as many aliases as you like plus email can be forwarded to your personal email address such as hotmail, gmail. Thats something I cant do at present. Wish I had checked earlier. 123reg charge for everything as an extra - except DNS management thankfully.

Does anyone else use 1and1 and can recommend?

    Thanks.

1 & 1 are pony if you get a problem.

The one I PM'd you about earlier has the following:
If you are using your domain purely for email.... then select this option! You can have unlimited Mailboxes with this account, and have 2gb bandwidth per month for your emails! You also have a wide range of email tools available. This package will NOT support websites, and is used purely as an email domain!

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
Even more confused after going through everything.

I have web hosting here: http://www.uk2.net/web-hosting/

I have the business package so what does this mean? It says 1000 POP / IMAP E-mail*** but the *** has a note saying master domain only. Does that mean my master site can have 1000 aliases? If so, whats the point in having so many?

I have looked at hostgator and it seems to provide free unlimited emails and hosting - is that right?

    So confused now.

I would look at the 1and1 hosting packages at https://www.1and1.co.uk with only 4 days left of their promotion, they have some very good 1/2 price deals.

123reg now is great for service ,have used them for 6 years.
as for email , if you own a domain with 123 you can redirect your isp to that domain email ,use it or redirect to gmail , example
aol internet email...redirect to z@ domain.co.uk...redirect to z@gmail.com ...result is short email address to type in...also if you change isp you just put new internet email address redirect to domain emaii....never loose email....I have a few 4 letter domains for myself and family that are great .

If i get the service of a webhost, do they have customer support just in case I will have this same problem and ask their help? If such service is limited to some webhost, can you share what webhost I should get?

vidahost it the best I have used/using at present.

email and phone support, based in Maidstone
