Who offers the best service if I wanted to buy multiple domains and email addresses?
I have unlimited hosting with uk2.net who offer a good service but charge for everything including DNS access?
So, I need a company who offers free DNS access who I can just use to buy a domain name from and email address/es.
Currently I use 123reg who charge £7.18 in VAT for 2 years (minimum option but I prefer 1 year) for a .co.uk domain and charge £0.99 per month for email.
Please help.
Thanks.

I'm pretty sure that .co.uk domain names can only be registered/renewed for 2 years0

I go with Google Apps and GoDaddy.
GoDaddy give you full DNS control and Google Apps give you free Email for your domain name.
You can have multiple domains pointing to a singe goggle apps account and send using any domain name. (I've currently 4 domain names pointing to my google apps account).Laters

I'm confused whether you want best or cheapest?
Personally I really like fasthosts (ukreg) for domain registrations; they're not the cheapest but their service is really good and I've happily used them for 10 years or so. GoDaddy are cheaper but I wouldn't want to use them (I registered some domains with them and regret it).
Depending on your DNS requirements, the fasthosts DNS management may suffice, but if not, then dnsmadeeasy.com is really good and cheap.0 -
The minimum term for a .co.uk domain name is 2 years.

Thanks for the replies everyone, very kind.
I think 1and1 is looking good so far. Its the same price as 123reg but email is £0.69 per month and you can add as many aliases as you like plus email can be forwarded to your personal email address such as hotmail, gmail. Thats something I cant do at present. Wish I had checked earlier. 123reg charge for everything as an extra - except DNS management thankfully.
Does anyone else use 1and1 and can recommend?
Thanks.0 -

I used them about a decade ago and they were woeful, I expect they may have changed since then! Still, I'd stick with my recommendation of fasthosts/ukreg
Did you know you can use gmail on your domain for free so no need to pay for an email service? It requires some changing of the DNS (adding appropriate MX records) but it is simple to do and google provide an excellent walk-through when you sign up. You also get access to all the other free google apps too.

+1 for the Google apps, I've just started playing around with setting up email for my site. Plenty of help available, bit daunting doing it for the first time though.Move along, nothing to see.0
