Will I be able to take my cat with me to an ATOS medical?

She has toys to play with, and there's always something of mine like a t-shirt she can snuggle up in.
It just seems she has emulated me in not wanting to go outside much, although in my case it's because of panic disorder.0 -
I am starting to see more and more now why my hand reared cat (he is 7 now) hates me being on the bath. He really cries and paws me to get out. The thing is, I had a really bad experience 2 years ago while in the bath (had a massive anxiety attack and had to be pulled out of the bath by my OH)
I think now he must be able to sense my unease about getting in the bath and your cat must be feeling your unease of going outside.
Animals do pick up on our feelings.Just sold a lawnmower on Ebay.. That's the last time my neighbour will wake me up on a Saturday morning!0 -
That makes sense to me - she does go out just about every day but only 30 minutes or so.
I've been outside with her in the gardens and she seems to enjoy being outside with me but will always follow me back inside.0 -
Update.
Well, that was a relief - I didn't have to go for a medical; what I wrote on the ESA50 was enough, apparently, and I have been placed in the support group of ESA. I am so relieved.0 -

Your lucky they read what you wrote, I know for a fact they didnt read what I wrote. They admitted it.
But oddly, carried on with sending me for a medical.[greenhighlight]but it matters when the most senior politician in the land is happy to use language and examples that are simply not true.

The impact of this is to stigmatise people on benefits,
and we should be deeply worried about that[/redtitle](house of lords debate, talking about Cameron)0 -

I got help filling in the ESA50 from my mental health worker - it helped that I kept copies of my IB50 (filled out just last November) so was able to say more or less the same about my illnesses, just updated.0 -
