Just got an email from the Jillian Michaels fitness thingy. Apparently the recommended 30 minutes of exercise 5 times a week is only for maintenance and if you want to lose weight you need to do 60 minutes at a time! 60 minutes!

    Hey

I have to confess I was naughty again last night. :o

had a crap day.. a meeting in the morning about whats happening with our jobs, then a meeting with the union rep who thinks we might be stuffed. Got back late and ended up at the pub with OH to have a drink to cheer me up.

Then things got on top of me and I ate crisps - my comfort food. I just wanted/needed something like that. It was just sorting out wedding stuff, the fact that both me and OH are likely to be out of a top next year, my dad's death and that he won't be there at the wedding. :( Ended up in tears - as was just physically and emotionally worn out. Poor OH didn't know what to do. he is good at practical help.. but gets a bit freaked out on the emotional support bit :rotfl:

But today is another day and I need to be stronger!!

Oh no Hadley. I'm sorry to hear about your job. Hugs. Don't feel bad about the crisps.

Oh Hadley i am so sorry. Please try and be positive today. I hate the job stuff going on, which is whyi had been looking for ages. it will be ok. :0) sometimes comfort food and drink is the best thing.. makes you forget stuff. :0) *hugs*. My OH cant deal with tears etc as well. His approach to everything is 'deal with it'. sometimes that drives me mad as i just want a hug. lol. maybe we can all meet and exchange life experiences and we might all feel better. I lost my sister to breast cancer last year, and towards the end, our reltaionship really broke down as she was angry at me for meeting someone, and being well. :-( and when i am planning some wedding stuff and i lose hope, i think of how organised she was, i just start crying. :0(

Your last line is very inspirational! lets all do that!! :) xxx

    Thanks Rups,

So sorry to hear about your sister. I'm sure she is looking down and seeing everything you are doing.

Unfortunately it was my canacer (prostate) with my dad as well.

OHs and tears eh?? They just don't get it. As I say if I have a problem he is right there to sort it, think it kind of freaks him when he can't just do that. But at least they care. Mine will give me a hug then think that its sorted. Still guess he is trying ( in more ways than one :rotfl:)

But yes its another day and we all need to be strong and positive.
We have some great support on this thread so I think no know we can all do it):T

hehe funny how men then think, after they have given a hug, it is ALL OK! makes me laugh. just the way their brains are i guess.

I am counting time to go to the gym but the rain is really annoying me!

H2b is really good when I cry which is good cause I do it a lot. I get hugs and tickled to cheer me up and he gets me tissues.

Ok someone come and force me into the gym. I'm far too lazy.
