haha same here! that's the problem I suppose
my specific issue is i cant turn down yummy food that i want to eat, i can always turn down food that i dont want to eat. but i flatter myself on being able to cook and we eat out a lot as it is "thing" so it is being able to just have enough to be full without eating it till it is all gone :rotfl:
i have to say having fruit around the house and not making desserts was a great help to me.IF YOU THINK YOU ARE SO CLEVER, THEN WHY ARE'NT YOU RICH?

My aim was to loose 7lbs this month. Well....FAIL! We went on a caravan holiday for a week which was the most depressing thing ever weather was awful and the area we were was empty so we turned to yummy food and I did enjoy everything lol however since getting back I cant get back on the wagon so i've pretty much wasted October grrr. I'm going to weigh myself tomorrow morning to see what the damage is I will report back. I'm going to be double good in November to try to make up for it. We have booked our engagement shoot for March so need to be at target by then. I've decided not to go down the normal route of buying a dress which all say give 5 months notice, and am going to stick with sorting one end of Jan/Feb which leaves 3-4 months before the wedding I may regret this decision but i'm sticking to my guns! Wish me luck.
Well done everyone keep going we can do it!0 -

WHOOOPA! 2.5!!
yeah the stew is not bad, however the mashed potato if done accordingly = 1 massive chunk of butter and then double it. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMM! butter....
thanks! i am currently unwell so i am eating more than planned but trying to be very healthy - so yes i am on porridge (but with milk) too...
i am trying to balance my eating more but I just hate eating at work and I am in the middle of an industrial estate to dont know where i could eat...
feel a bit weird eating in my car and dont want to make a mess.... hmmmmIF YOU THINK YOU ARE SO CLEVER, THEN WHY ARE'NT YOU RICH?

Hello everyone - i'd like to join too! i was proposed to on Halloween and i need to shift a lot of weight!! i'm not planning to get married for at least 6 months (in the process of sorting out venues and dates)
I need to go from a size 20 to at least a size 16, i know it's a short amount of time but i don't want to have trouble with my wedding dress - which i've not bought yet but really want to!!
i've started dieting already, about 3 weeks ago but have gone off the wagon with celebrating my engagement so only lost 3lb to date!! Weigh day tomorrow though!0 -
citizenkitten--- im really lucky as although i work on an industrial estate too we have a kitchen with tables and chairs fridge + microwave.. is there nothing like that where you are? xx maybe if you have to bring lunch in the form of sandwiches or stuff that's packaged conveniently and therefore more likely to be "bad" for you you could decide to eat most of your calories during the day and just have stuff that is low cal etc for your tea - lovely warm soup to come home to in the slow cooker (haha listen to me.. obv i'd really want lovely warm fish and chips to come home to but if you've had most of your calories at lunch it might not be so bad?).. i know what you mean about mashed potato too -- i have zero point soup for lunch today.. it's severely lacking a lovely big hunk of french bread and butter though!
missterious -- 3lb in 3 weeks is good - that's 1lb/week! xx good luck with your loss and let us know how your weigh in went xCC1 £7,944.10

i put on 2lb!!!! so i've only lost 1lb now - what a fool i am! i knew i shouldn't have stayed at my mum and dad's the other night, we always eat naughty stuff!!
that's it, no treats this week - i had my fill last week!
so far today i've eaten a 2 finger kit kat, a low cal pack of crisps and a banana. For lunch i'm having tinned salmon with very light mayo and a bread roll, plus i have 2 apples and 2 satsumas to eat. my problem is that i work 13 hour shifts and it's so tedious i eat to make the day go better!!
i have a slow cooker at home but i stupidly don't use it, i really should start getting myself organised.
What nice hearty filling meals can i cook in it? i don't really eat much soup cos i don't find it filling0
