That's good then Olokia. I am sure everything will go perfectly and even if you forget something (which I am sure you won't) it doesn't matter.
I am so excited! Nerves haven't hit me at all yet.
Lunch was potato salad, cous cous, salad leaves, cucumber dip and pitta.
Just got in and eaten the two left over profiteroles in the fridge! oppsss
Not long for you now. It is next week!0 -
Yeah the forum has been a bit slow lately.
I know so exciting Olokia! Not impressed by the snow though! Hope it is gone and replaced with the sun by next saturday. Fingers crossed!
Breakfast this morning was porridge, lunch is carrot, cucumber and pepper sticks with pitta and hummus. Plus some yogurt coated strawberries and a banana.0 -
My stomach muscles are hurting from the gym/ swimming yesterday.
but that means it is working!
I am in 2 minds whether to go today or not....
I haven't brought my stuff with me so I nee to go home first
There is something I really want to watch, which is waitin for me at home
But I said I would wait until 8 (at the latest) for OH to come home
I got given an easter egg, which I can enjoy with it
I should go shouldn't I ....?:T0 -
Does OH want to watch it too Jo? You could go to the gym and then watch it with OH when you get back. Then you won't feel guilty about eating the easter egg lol.0

Yeah, he does. I will go, just trying to talk myself out of it...! But I will eat the egg, n OH won't be home until around 7 at the earliest... So if u don't go I will eat something else at home n watch tv. N still eat the egg later!:T0

i follow tips from various personal trainers on twitter and one said that it is not a good idea to go to the gym if you have not fully recovered from a previous session...apparently resting is as important as doing, especially if you are doing resistance training. she suggested that if you are going to go that doing a more gentle exercise such as yoga or pilates would be best as it will stretch out your muscles. my shoulders were really sore after body pump on friday night so i took a rest for a day or two
. i just have to try not to stuff my face too full of food while i am resting!!

It's not actually hurting that bad. Just needs to be stretched out a little. But it is the bit that is not so easily stretched!:T0

just had to dash into town for birthday and wedding cards for the next few weeks and got thoroughly soaked.
The roads are getting near gridlocked as all the tourists are heading to the shops as it is pouring down. Luckily my boss is out so he didn't spot the rather long lunch break....When you're chewing on life's gristle, don't grumble, give a whistle.
:whistle:0 -
It's not raining here, its quite nice.
Half the office is on holiday this week and one of my collegues only ever works on mondays and wednesdays so there are 3 of us in today! So while I don't think it would be noticed if I took a long lunch break I have too much to do!
Just eaten my lunch though, had some grapes too which I had forgotten about so that was nice lol.
Going to have stuffed peppers for dinner. Yummy0
