wow, that's great Olokia. Another female engineer to add to the ranks.

Hadley, I managed to put on the 2lb on last week, that i had lost before so i'm back to square one. Not happy and blamed the scales as i ate healthy and exercised loads.

I now have a sore throat again... :( but I am still going to the gym. Even tho I don't finish work until 5. I was off for several days with a sore throat before, so don't want it to happen again! I want to have lost for the weigh in in Friday.

Hi guys...I'm struggling this week with my AF but did manage to go to 2 classes at the gym last night and have eaten well today so far...muesli for breakfast and a lovely smoked salmon thing for lunch at the local cafe. Planning on going to Legs, Bums and Tums at 8.10 pm tonight but it will be a push for me to go as I am teaching piano after work and won't be home until 6.30 pm...hopefully I won't be too tired to go. I was really tired last night and had to really push myself to go to the gym but was really glad I went because I loved it when I was there. I just need to remember this every time I am struggling to go!

Well done Olokia! Have been really good so far this week but AF started last night (must be the week for it ladies..) and I had to have some chocolate today. So not feeling too good about that, but I still have enough calories to have an omelette for supper. Might do some zumba to balance out the chocolate.

    Hello,

I'm getting married at the start of next year and really want to loose weight, but for some reason I cant find enthusiaum to do it! I need help :(!

Ive been "tubby" all my life, and have been on a diet since I was 17 when my weight hit 14st 9lb, I joined SW and was soon down to 12st 10lb then christmas came and I stopped going and ever since ive been keeping my eye on my weight with the idea to get down to my target weight 11stone, i'm now age 27 and still havent got there! How depressing 10 year diet :rotfl:. The lowest my weight has been has been 12st 2lb and I felt great. Then a few yrs ago I met my other half and my weights crept back up i'm now 13stone 9lb :( my OH is not remotely bothered about my size but he's biast! Bascially I would like to get down to 10 Stone 12lb or around this weight, so thats 39lbs to loose eeek! I aim to loose 2lb a week so I should be at my target weight in 20 weeks time but thats if i'm really strict and I know I wont be able to be everyday, i'm being realistic.

I was going to join SW but dont want to spend the money each week so I thought if I put the money in a pot instead each week and get my Dad to weigh me each Saturday, he will go oooo with a frown if ive put on or well done if ive lost where as my mum and OH will be like oh well never mind which is not what I need!

So I would love your support and thought I could check in and let you know how i'm doing as I cant do it on my own :(

Hi Frugle and welcombe to the thread :)
We are all very friendly on here and make suggestions, give encouragment etc (although we do occasionally advise naughty things heehee).

I weighed in this morning and have lost 2 lb!! :) yay. Would like to loose another 1 lb this week, if I can (have got various things on) and then I will have lost 3 and a half stone.

Had porridge for breakfast this morning, have got left over stuffed peppers from the other day for lunch with carrot, cucumber and pepper sticks and hummus. Plus a fruit bar thing too. Going out for dinner later but not sure where yet. Got my final dress fitting tomorrow! Yay :) So excited now!!

Hope you are feeling better now Jo :)

Yeah definately rest if you still aren't feeling great. You can have a lie in tomorrow and go once you get up if you feel better.

I really don't want to be at work today. Am so excited! Can't believe it's just over a week to go :)

Oh Em that is so exciting! I can't wait to be at that stage!!
Need to lose a few more pounds first though!

Managed to make it to legs, bums and tums last night and it felt like it was a really good work out but then I used AF as an excuse in my head to eat 2 bags of crisps, tea and toast and the head of my chocolate buttons easter chick when I got home! Still feeling the pain and tiredness of AF today but at least I am off work Friday, Monday and Tuesday so I am hoping to get a few extra gym sessions in and to get the house in order a wee bit! Will squeeze some fun stuff in too! xx

I went yesterday, n I didn't feel any worse, but my heart really wasn't in it. N goig to the gym tonight isn't going to make any difference on the weigh in tomorrow!
I'm not surprised Em. I think I would be jumping if the walls! Luckily I have the week before my wedding off work!
