So looking forward to the menu tasting
Only one days food for us thankfully. Can't wait!!:j Also apparently get to sample the drinks package... Umm maybe the good intentions start next week.
As I am so lazy and 9 times out of 10 can't be bothered to adapt ideas - I end up using the SW mags and cook books for loads. BUt will have to have a look at BBC one - I like the sound of easy.
Will just have to sneak lots of veg into my beef curry...:rotfl:0 -
Well done to the ladies have lost
I am hoping to have lost at least one lb preferably 2 lb tomorrow. Fingers crossed.
Massive congratulations Daisyand welcome to the thread. I often post what I eat, how I have done when I weigh myself and just general chit chat.
Stay positive HadleyJust look at it in small amounts rather than the whole lot
Breakfast was porridge and lunch is last nights left overs of roasted red pepper, rocket and pesto pasta with hm garlic bread (well sort of homemade; they were part baked rolls so I added garlic butter to them and then finished cooking them).
I am stuck working downstairs today, just come up to my desk for lunch, so can't post much todaywill check back later when I am home though. Hope everyone is having a good day.

Iam already suffering the afternoon slump as went out and bought such a cheap veggie curry with rice from a cafe nearby.. i had curry as well for later on tonight. hehe.. it was 2.99 for a veggie curry with rice and he gave me loads. so am still eating it and feeling sleepy.. at least it had some veggies in there. hehe
tired and my mouth is burning as there were chillies. eek:DBecame Mrs H on the 1st of October 2011!!

That sounds nice Rups. Though I don't do chillies - such a wimp.
My food today has been so boing... sometimes I hate dieting
Have had 2 pears, cucumber, pepper and celery sticks and a mug shot all free on SW. I am full, but just feeling a bit bored. Oh forgot to mention I have an apple for later. Just hope it all pays off later.
Think I've hit the afternoon slump too... no motivation. feel tired and fancy going home to bed. But have an exciting time ahead. Anothe 3 hours of work, then hairdressers to get a test for my colour on Sat, then off to SW, then might try Tesco or somewhere for the few bits I need for my curry. Then can go home to bed, but will probably be me going home and doing OH his dinner - as he'll wait for me so we can eat together.0 -
ah thats so sweet that he waits for you. i like having dinner together as well when we can.
i have officially hit the slump. want to sleep and my eyes are even shutting now. yawn.Became Mrs H on the 1st of October 2011!!

I just filled in a tracking thing on daily burn and supposedly i only eat around 700 a colories a day now!!
Eeek - that is not good, but on the plus side, its means i can eat a few more snacks each day (and even the odd glass of wine!)
First step - start eating proper breakfasts! - I had tried to cut out cereal and was just having fruit and yoghurt drinks for breakfast, but i think i need more!
Second step - add nuts to everything as high in calories and protein!
Third step - add more meat to the lunchtime salad!
Any advice guys?Weight loss challenge, lose 15lb in 6 weeks before Christmas.0 -
700 per day? that is so little. maybe i have got it wrong as am sleepy.. you seem to be eating well though esp with the nuts and stuff. i went and got myself a bag from Tescos at lunch time, as they were going for 97 pence! cheap hey?
i know people have said and also personal trainers have told me, that for me (being 5 ft 4 inches), i would need to eat 1500 calories per day to lose it, and of course add exercise.Became Mrs H on the 1st of October 2011!!

I haven't been eating the nuts, that the new plan since I counted the calories - eat breakfast & add nuts!
And i thought i was eating so well! Maybe the odd burger king/big dinner is necessary!Weight loss challenge, lose 15lb in 6 weeks before Christmas.0 -
ahh i see, hehe.. see i said i was dozing off. :rotfl:
i eat porridge everyday with some honey and have a cup of tea..
I try and eat nuts just before lunch, but maybe i should shift those to after lunch (mid afternoon) so dont crave the sweeties.
i think the HUGE prob with me is the size of lunches and dinners. they are huge so am consuming far too many calories. i tried calory counting but got fed up! lol. Kung fu instructor said to try GI and eat slow releasing foods, so i start well with the porridge but end up badly towards dinner.Became Mrs H on the 1st of October 2011!!
