That could have been me posting! I sts this week but after the food and drink over the weekend i should be grateful! Got the morning off so off to meet my mum for a swim and lunch. Must get back on track!
  • Hi Ladies,

Sounds like you all had lovely weekends!

Scales said I'd lost another kilo and a bit when I weighed on Saturday, so thats nearly 4kg gone, half a stone! Woo hoo! Only 3 and a half to go :D

Was good over the weekend but last night not so... went out for dinner with OH which was lovely and not too naughty. It was the mini eggs I scoffed when I got back that let me down hehe. So I now have about 300 cal to make under this week. Do able if I'm good the whole week!

My Dad's been losing weight recently too, so I showed him the my fitness pal app and he's hooked! Go Dad! lol

Hope you all have a fab day xx

I was relatively good yesterday (Except for my lucn/brunch)

    Breakfast - Banana & Actimel
Brunch - 1 slice bacon, beans, potato bread (evil canteen)

Dinner - 1/2 potato, 2 slices bacon, turnip & gravy.

I managed no snacks - otehr than cups of tea!

    Exercise - 15 min walk & 1 hour zumba

Tonight will be hard though as we're heading out for dinner (again)

I was terribel over the weekend too, even went as far as having a burger king on sat - although did have the sweet chilli wrap, instead of the burger and didn't even eat all the chips!

And was out for lunch on sunday, although no wine, no desert and ceaser salad for starter and turkey for main course!
On the up side, I was out on Saturday night and wasn't drinking, so prob saved a few calories there!

Morning all! Hope youall had lovely weekends :)

it was so manic yesterday at work, that i didnt even get a chance to breathe. not used to it being sooo busy, so when it is, my poor brain cant handle it. hehe

was bad on frdiay as hubby's leaving do. only had a big glass and one small glass of wine andthat was enough for me. and i had a hangover the nexy day! :( useless!!! then the weekend was a write-off as we had pizza at my brother's place, which was nice and on Sunday, i was in Camden just sight seeing as hubby went for his gig. :)

my mum has prepared this yummy mixture for me that contains semolina, lots of different nuts, sugar, raisins (yuck yuck) and aniseed. she says they and all the older generations eat this and it keeps their joints working and also helps recover internally so am enjoying that at the mo.;)

am wanting to go back to the gym, so today am going with hubby for kung fu and will give it a go. :) its about time i think i started back. it might help with the tiredness or not. hehe. am eating as a go along but once i sort myself out gym-wise the my eating will def sort itself out as with that rich mixture, i doubt i will lose weight. :)

    am tired today.

How you feeling today Rups? getting easier being back at work?

Today I have breakfast biscuits to start, lunch is carrot and cucmber sticks, an apple, banana, some yogurt coated strawberries and a hm biscuit. Yummy.

Walked to work and will walk home. That leaves me with around 1000 calories left for later. May have a takeaway as a treat with OH and cuddle up on the sofa watching a film :)

Glad you are enjoying company :)

Heehee thanks. I would have loved a jacket potato though; they are so comforting. I don't really like them done in the microwave though and thats all we have in the kitchen. I could get one from a cafe down the road but they are about £5 and I'm not paying that haha

hi hope you all don't mind but i am going to list my food here as i need someone/somewhere to be accountable to as my eating so easily gets out of control...

    B: Muesli
    L:Mug of HM veg soup/slice of toast/banana/orange
Snacks: Chicken mugshot/slice of ham/4 nairns oatcakes/2 chocolate coins

heading to the gym at 6.15 and then straight on to a church meeting...gonna get back late which is why i have snacked so heavily and will prob have maybe some tomato soup later.

are oatcakes good for diets?? i am thinking of completely replacing bread with them for a week or two and see how that works, cos they are tasty and wheat free...
