Hi Em. Oh yes Valentine's. Are you getting your OH a pressie? I want to, but can't decide what and he says that he want this year to be only cards as we have so much expense with the wedding etc.
We have been winding the guys up - i.e. are they going to propose? and are they prepared for the leap year. Its fun seeing the panic on their faces.:rotfl:0 -
I don't know what to get him. I will get him a little something just can't decide. Haha. Don't want to get chocolate really as we still have loads of christmas food left! Will have a look on the way home. I will probably also make a nice dinner tomorrow but that depends on how busy work is haha.0

I'm in the same boat. Was thinking of getting him a little chocolate cake or something (Don't like chocolate, or cake really, so won't be tempted)
Was thinking about cooking something nice and romantic tomorrow night, but found out that the kids are not going to their mum's this week. so a romantic meal for four!:( But as you say might be to o tired anyway.0 -
Em, you really are good, I cant believe you still have all that Christmas food left over. It would have been scoffed ages ago if it had been in my house!0

I can't open the quality street as I know as soon as they are open I will scoff all the ones I love heehee. They can wait till after the wedding. We also have a load of sweets in now for the sweetie buffet! One of my cupboards is tempting me so much!!0

Did you enjoy yourself though Giddy? Try not to let it bother you, it's done now and as long as you had a good time that's the important part. Like you said be good the rest of the week and hopefully the scales will say what you want on Thursday.
I did thanks Em, like you say I'm trying to just forget about it now. My scales say I put on 2lb over the weekend but I don't think that's possible. I wasn't that bad! I thought 1lb was about 3500 extra calories. I definitely didn't consume 7000 extra calories!
I think maybe drinking alcohol makes me retain water for a few days afterwards, my fingers feel bloated. Hopefully that's it, I'll find out for sure on Thursday I guess.
Glad you had a relaxing weekend, I might book myself one of those for this weekend.Debt at 1/5/09 £21,996 _pale_
