Woohoo no need to be too nervous I only put on one lb!! I know that is still a gain but considering christmas and new year were in there I am very happy

I've managed to gain 5lb.
I'm not surprised, I went a bit mental over Xmas and New Year, eating and drinking out all the time and avoiding the gym.
Time to concentrate and get back on it again.
I've finally bought a dress off the peg, but it's slightly too small. I absolutely have to lose an inch off my hips by May, or I'm in big trouble.
Over Christmas we have also managed to-
Book a venue,
Book a church,
Find a band,
Book a photographer,
Book a hair and make up trial,
Order the invites,
Order the bridesmaid dresses.
My to do list is still miles longer than my done list, but we're getting there. Going to see a florist tomorrow lunch, hopefully that will be one more item crossed off the list.
Must also go for a run in the morning!

Ok, I have stayed the same of Christmas and new year, which was really what I was expecting/ hoping. However... My OH LOST a pound!! How is that even possible over Xmas?!?!!? Starting to annoy me now! Grrrr! (he is doing well, but I jut don't understand it- he says it's bcos he weighs more to start with.):T0

Well done Jo that's brilliant! If he weighs more in the first place and hasn't been doing it until a couple of weeks ago it isn't suprising he is loosing better, people always do well at the start of a diet (or mostly anyway) as you are losing water and things like that.0

Morning Everyone,
Just a quick post to update from weigh in last night... I lost 1.5lbs am so happy with that as this means I have lost the 1.5lbs I put on the week before. So happy with that - as was rather bad over New Year.
Now just need to keep losing.

well done everyone for their losses.
that is so good.
had to disappear yest for a scan as i was bleeding the day before...to cut a long story short, it was weird that when i had the scan they said that with me being 8 weeks, the baby was showing like it is only 5 weeks. so either they have mis-calculated my numbers of weeks or the baby has stopped growing.
i really am hopeing it is the first case. i have an other scan in 11 says time and i am ppraying.. sorry i know i shouldnt write about this here, but all i have been thinking about since yest is this :-(
please pray for me girls. xxBecame Mrs H on the 1st of October 2011!!

Oh my goodness, Rups, fingers crossed for you that they've miscalculated your number of weeks and I hope so much that your baby is fine. You must be going through hell just now.xx0

thanks so much for that stricrazy... i know i have the girls from the other thread but i just felt i could say this here.. im really sorry for doing that though..
i am trying to work but its hard. hubby says to try and block it. I know men can do that sort of thing easily than us,but its difficult for me at the mo. it was weird when the doc asked whether i wanted to see the baby and i said yeah and she asked whether i was sure? i could see a little thing in me and i want it so bad now.
will try and lighten up. sorry girls. xxxBecame Mrs H on the 1st of October 2011!!
