I live with a joiner and I am currently looking for work so my OH can take some time off and finish off the house! I live in a building site permenantly.
I think anything from 6 months before is fine for trials. It make take a while to find the right person hairdresser etc.

Morning all. I actually went to the gym yesterday, and felt very pleased with myself. I then went home and had soup and a roll, and a small hot chocolate. I did treat myself to one little Lindt melt chocolate tho... Whoops!
Well the surprising news is I have signed myself up for a swimathon! I am going to swim a mile (64 lengths) in as little time as possible! The idea behind this is that I will have to train for it, so will have to go to the gym, go swimming etc. n I can't back out because people are sponsoring me! I haven't swam for ages really, n never done 64 consec lengths. Did 50 once about 8 years ago... It took over an hour! I should really be (able to be) fitter and stronger than I was 8 years ago, being only 15ish at the time! So hopefully will do 50 lengths in under an hour. But we will see...:T0 -
I love sticky toffee pudding Rups it's so yummy!
Wow go you Jo. I think it is a good way to motivate yourself. How long have you got to train?
I didn't do any exercise last night as I was too busy panicing about how much we have left to do lol. It is really hard choosing the music for the ceremony... cue *helpful* suggestions from OH!0 -
well done Jo. i will sponsor you, but you have to remind me as i forget soooo easily. hehe.. that is great!!! i need to start swimming when i get past my tiredness as right now no gym stuff is appealing to me.
em, me and hubby had massive arguements over the music we had to select. i swear i thought that the wedding planning was going to split us up. hehe. we even argued about theme colours and i had to tell him that other people's fiance's were leaving that sort of stuff to the brides-to-be. lolBecame Mrs H on the 1st of October 2011!!

It's not until 29th April, so ages!!
I understand Em, OH also is very "helpful"! But he keeps on repeating my jokes! I have reply: no, u said we couldn't walk back down the ailse to the empirors march....:T0 -
Morning
I got my feedback this morning :j. It's good (and annoying) as I am almost at the level required for what is effectively a promotion for me. So maybe if I try again next time and learn some programming design I could get in.
I sorted out my ceremony music last weekend. I've got some backgroundy type music for when the guests assemble like Ronan Keating and Robbie Williams (and a piece from Lord of the Rings lol). Not my kind of music but I don't think the guests would appreciate what I would prefer. I am walking down the aisle to a string version of Viva la Vida. While I sign the register it will be Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol and One Day Like This by Elbow. Walking out to Arrival of the Queen of Sheba and Feeling Good by Muse.
Good luck Jo with the Swimathon, when is it? ETA: Crossposted
Lol my OH also mentioned Starwars for me walking down the aisle. Definitely not, I don't like Starwars0 -
Ah thanks Rups. A link is on Facebook!
Well we are choosing the music together, but he is in charge of music really! I just nudge him in the right direction!:T0
