I know and I went to the pub that evening and had whatever I wanted including dessert. I think I worked out that (Calories Burnt + Calories Needed - Calories Eaten) meant I had to eat 1700 more calories to get to the minimum 1200 for the day. I didn't because I wasn't hungry and my weight loss nurse still complained about the dessert I ate that day.

One of the reasons I want to get a dog (other one is because I would love to have a dog) is that it would get me walking every day and every Sunday I could do some of that hill walk. OH doesn't want me to get one though because we are at work all day even though I would get a rescue dog who is older and doesn't mind being alone (with the cats).

we are the same. i would love a dog as it would def keep me active, buit hubby said it wont be fair on the dog as we will be away. my brother has one and all he ever does is pine for him and sulk. so sad.

i have just transferred the gym ladie's tracks onto my mp3 player, as she plays such good tunes inbody pump. they want to make me dance. hehe..

ok just had two satsumas.. hubby's out today so i might go 'window shopping'. hehe. i need comfy shoes though as i buy cheapy ones and they hurt my feet so much. :(

I would love a dog too but OH isn't keen.

I just had a pre dinner snack of a flapjack. Yummy but not overly healthy and all I can think of is another one :(

I'm the same as you guys. I'd love a dog but OH says no because we're at work all day. I've told him if he earns more money I can stay at home and be a 50s style housewife and he said no to that too. Nasty man!!

Rups, I've got a heart rate monitor from Tesco. It's a strap that goes around your chest (under your clothes) and a watch. It's not all singing and dancing like olokias but it onyl cost £20 and does the job.

Working late tonight so just chomping on my hm lasagne. I've not been entirely good today but because I walked for 45 minutes up a hill (gotta love Edinburgh for needing walking boots just to walk on the pavements), I'm still coming in under 1500 calories. Plus, I think I'm overestimating the calories in my lasagne.

I want a dog too! But see reasons above....! But may get a house bunny next year. :) not really a healthy substitute!

    Today I have eaten:
B- rich tea fingers, Jaffa cakes (180)
L- dairy lea dunker, mini muller corner, hot choc & marshmallows (327)
    S- yoghurt raisins, marshmallows (179)
D- tomato soup, tiger bread, butter (whoops!), hot choc, marshmallows (547)

Total 1233. Happy with that. :) hope its making a difference!

Jo, maybe you could put a leash on the bunny and take it for walks? My brother used to do that with his cat.

I'm sensing a marshamllow theme today. Did you have lots of them? I like them melted. Or dipped in melted chocolate. I realise the latter doesn't really fit into the diet way of thinking though.
