My weight yoyos too. When I met OH I was 6 stone lighter than my heaviest (but I was 14 heehee). I gradually put on weight during our relationship though A growing up and B going out for dinner etc. I made a concerted effort in 6th Form and lost 2 stone for my 18th. Then went to uni and discovered the joys of being in contol of food shopping plus all the alcohol calories heehee so put it all back on and some then graduated and moved in with OH to lots of nice meals etc so got to my heaviest. At Christmas, after various previous attempts where I had lost 10-15lb before giving up and putting it back on plus a bit more, I decided enough was enough and have been eating sensibly and doing more exercise and have lost 2 and a half stone so far. I want to loose another 2 and a half stone which would take me to the weight I was when I was 18. Not sure if I will get nearer that weight though and decide I would look too thin then. We will see. My face and tummy really show it when I put on weight. My boobs, however, seem to stay the same size regardless of if I put weight on or loose it!

Em - you are very lucky if your boobs stay the same... unfortunately mine are one of the first bits to start disappearing :(

Am going to have a hunt at lunchtime for a wedding dress photo or two to pin up ... it might just give me that kick when I'm beginning to weaken.

Might also have a google at some more SW receipies... something I can make lots of and freeze I think - then (hopefully) knowing I have something healthy already made will help:)
  • My wedding lingerie has just arrived - this one: http://www.miodestino.co.uk/boutique/product.php/835/what-katie-did-glamour-shape-wear-vintage-peach-corselette
I've ordered it slightly small, knowing what my slimmer size is! I managed to get into it but it involved various contortions and slightly panicky 'oh my god I'm stuck' moments! Taking it off again was even more fun...:rotfl: It does look good though, and holds me in well. Just want it to be a bit easier to get in and out of on the day!

My boobs lose and gain too. grr. why is it like that? not fair. but def gain on face and then stomach and boobs. :0( it was so much easier when was younger though. growing up in kenya was easier as there was not that much access to sweets and chocolate (more chewing gums) lol. when i moved here at 15, i was so slim but being at school and discovering corner shops was bad esp as me and my younger bro saved up for mars bars. haha. saying that, i was stll slim at uni as stayed active, but after having meningitis, it all went downhill as was on glucose drips and medication and have struggled since then.. grrr. still managed to slim down before meeting OH and then after going on the bloody implant, i put it on again!!! stupid!! so i took it off this year and it has been a mission losing the weight.. sorry rambled on here..

ohh slow tried looking at your underwear but the link is blocked, so i will try later. bet its lovely :0) i managed to find a pretty white strapless in the end from bravissimo. few. need a matching thong though :p

just saw a video of beyonces new song, and in it she is wearing amazing lingerie in it. she has such an amazing figure. cow!!! :p I gave up in the end trying to buy corsettes as they either didnt fit and if they did, they were showing underneath my dress.:(

I know - she has my ideal figure, curvy but toned. Drat her.....

Corsets are really difficult to fit properly - shop bought ones are generally not very high quality and made to fit a generic figure which very few of us are, so if you want one it's best to get custom-made, which is hardly MSE!! It is one of my sartorial ambitions to have a custom-made corset though - one day.....

Nice underwear is good to have any way and its not like it can only be used for the wedding :j

    Enjoy your afternoon Rups :)

Lunch today is left over potatoes from the other night, carrot, cucumber and pepper sticks with mini babybell light, grapes and pineapple. Yummy.

ewww. Someone make me stop eating.

  • I just went out to sainsburys to get dinner for tonight. Brought cabbage (good) and a red onion as needed them for tea. Thought it would be a good idea to get a bottle of wine too... (getting bad).... Then the Gu puddings were on offer! It's like 360 cals for a pudding! That only leave me 200 odd for tea! Not including the wine.... Oh dear! Someone justify it to me?!?!
