my god.. i can not deal withthe women in my current team at the moment. I am so sorry, i know this is a diet thread but since ihave got myself that new job, i have been getting such catty remarks.. my current team are undergoing a review process as their jobs are def getting outsourced to India, but thats not my fault is it, if i got off my back-side and applied for jobs!!! god why are some women such a pain!!! I am sooo glad that you are all sooo nice. here..
sorry needed a rant..Became Mrs H on the 1st of October 2011!!

He he... No problem Rups feel free to rant. :rotfl:Have no idea why woman have to be so catty, it just seems to come naturally to some.:(
On the diet front... i have been good and bad. I was good all day foodwise yesterday. But then after having an arguement with my brother via text about when he would get his half of the money from the sale of my dad's car (no actual sadness about why we have had to sell it extra since he died all my bro has been interested in is when he can get the money)!! - Argh!!! Anyway this made me crave a glass of wine... !!
Still trying to make up for it today!!0 -
One glass of wine? thats nothing Hadley. dont worry about it as in that situation, i think i would have gone mad and eaten everything and drank everything.
Brothers are annoying. I have 2, out of which i just want to strangle one! grrr hehe
i agree with you about women. I can get catty when i want to be, but i assess the situation, as if someone is being way too catty to me, then i dont hold back. These few days have been weird. I feel bad for the team that they may lose their jobs, but i actually went and did something about mine. I mean they were questioning me in such a catty manner about why i have to go and travel in my new job to see clients, and that is prob being paid by them. meooow.. oh well roll on new job. lol thanks for listening/reading. heheBecame Mrs H on the 1st of October 2011!!

Thanks Rups.
As you say you went and did something. Just ignore tehm ( I know its easier said than done).
Thast what I'm trying to do with my brother. though admittedly OH did have to calm me down in terms of what I said to him last night. As he pointed out it was better not to stoop to his level. Again easier said than done.0 -
Don't worry about it Rups, just rise above it. N Hadley one glass if wine (well red anyway) is advised by health professionals!! I had a baileys last night! But I don't worry about alcohol on my diet.
thank god! I couldn't survive on no alcohol and no sweet!
:T0 -
i know.. hehe funny how OHs do that. My OH is more volatile than me, so when i get upset with my brother, he tells me to pick the phone and shout and swear. That wont help as i know my family and it will make things worse. lol. i know easier said than done!!
wasnt sure whether to go to the gym but am def going now as i would rather go and do zumba, than be in this moody environment right now!!
poor OH. i know now how he feels when i get so moody with him for no reason.Became Mrs H on the 1st of October 2011!!

I am doing the s diet. Don't think I am generally doing too badly, do just seem to be getting hungry around 5ish. And then can't really do anything about it until tea.:T0

ah it seems to be working well for you though. i dont think i can do that as i need to snack inbetween and if i dont, my sugar levels drop so badly to the point of nearly fainting, and i cant do that :-(
had my granola with a little bottle of orange/mango juice, then just now i had a pot of mixed summer berries before the gym.
Lunch will consist of some chorizo, paella type salad and yoghurt. then at 4.30 i always get hungry and i snack on my mango and pineapple pieces. hmm i love pineapple.. the guy next to me is eating such a yum sandwich that i am trying not to smell it, as its chilli chicken in bread and the smell is driving me mad. lol

Hi Chrissy, you are doing so well.. well done. :0) super healthy too!!
Can I ask you something though? Does everything has to be a WW meal or can you buy normal stuff too, and do you get fed up counting points all the time?Just wondered, in case I decide to go for that. I was with slimming world, which worked so well for me, but I was at uni then, and I had a bit of time to prepare food. We used to have the red and green days, and then eventually I got fed up as I was thinking about what to eat on green days or what not to eat. hehe. Also as i awas paying and as a student, that became hard, I stopped. It was really good for me though as on a green day, i could eat as much pasta i wanted, as long as i had my calcium intake everyday, and other bits and bobs. hmmm...
Hi Rups, you can eat anything you like, doesn't have to be WW. There's a calculator on the website and also an app so you input the protein, carbs, fat, fibre and serving size and it tells you how many pro points. I make most of our dinners from scratch using the calculator (or recipes on their site) but sometimes it's easier to buy their soups/snacks as it says how many pp's are in it without having to work it out!
It doesn't take too long to work out what you normally eat, or what you think is healthy and then you can set it up as a favourite so it's always there. My OH's challenge is to find the tastiest lowest point snacks! So far he's got 4 Ryvita crackerbreads with 2 Dairylight triangles for 3 points! And you can put tomato on the top for freeee!
This new WW gives you more points per day but you can't carry them over -- if you don't lose them, you lose them. However, you get 49 bonus points that you can use throughout the week. E.g. I'm going for a meal on Sat so will be super good all day then, I've got however many points from the day I haven't used plus my 49 bonus points!
Hope you enjoyed your lunch, I love chorizo/paella!0
