Had a really bad evening :( arrived home and could barely make it down the stairs, so have not gone to the pool, will go tomorrow.
Am feeling really down that I am unable to any exercise, as I am finding it really hard to loose weight just by eating less. Today I had:
    b- raisins
    L- sandwich & crisps
D- vegetable stir fry & yoghurt (can't really eat less than that can I??)

Then as I am really p***** off with my knee and being unable to exercise I had a bar of galaxy. :(

Jo, slowlyfading, I have also sinned.

    I started out reasonably well
    B porridge
l ham and lite philly roll and crisps (fitted on a plate)
    d pasta

Then I went off to zumba, got to the venue and discovered the class had been cancelled. I came home in the huff and ate ice cream.

  • Well I have been good today and yesterday after a bad weekend, as I had been very busy and just pigged out lol

    Today I had the following:

    Breakfast:

1 x bowl of coco pops with semi skimmed milk

    Lunch:

1 x packet of cup a soup with a banana and glass of squash

    Snack:

    1 x packet of snack-a-jacks and a plum

    Dinner:

Jacket potato with salad, savoury rice and corn on the cob

    Drinks:

WW hot chocolate made with semi skimmed milk, no sugar.

I weighed myself on Sunday and I had put on 2lb's from last week, but I have now lost 3lb's in the last 2 days, whooo! I went doctors regarding my weight loss and she has gave me a prescription for Oristat 120mg, which is a slimming pill and helps you lose more weight on top of what you are losing. Got to see the nurse on Monday before I start taking it.

Oooh Donna, rather you than me. I had a friend take that and if she cheated even a tiny bit it was like an explosion of bright orange poo, like the stuff on top of indian takeaways, that she couldn't control. It didn't come out of her clothes either.

Your meal plan looks pretty good.

I will get back on the wagon!!

    Morning everyone :0)

Its ok to have bad days but it seems like you guys were still OK and just a tad hard on your selves. I was bad in the evening as after tennis, i was hungry, so i went to Boots and got myself one of those natural yoghurt bars and had the whole of it (was meant to have half). It was very sweet as well. Got home, had the leftover roast dinner with a sweet potato and then later had a club bar (the orange flav one). i felt sick then. :-( i didnt even need it. dont know whats wrong with me? i fell asleep on the couch as OH watched some weird film, and went to bed. Am in pain today.

Donna, def be careful with that pill. like codemonkey said, its weird and does weird thing. I have heard people saying they spend a lot of time on the loo. :(

Jo please dont feel down. Def get the gel and have ibuprofen every time u feel knee pain. i understand how you feel. I couldnt do a lot of exercise until isaw the physio. U must push on that gp to get you going. If you can also, get one of those TENS machine and you can use it at home. Its very good for making blood flow go towards your knee and help problem areas. look into that. I think for exercise, def do swimming (not breast stroke as that hurts the knee slightly), and do not skip. that wil cause more harm. you can prob do exercises where u are not using your legs much so do abs and arms stuff. I totally had to work on that knee before i even could do exercise like body attack or combat as the jumping around was causing me pain. i couldnt even do jumping jacks. :( Try doing some soft squats at home with one of those soft balls inbetween your knees/or a pillow will suffice, and lean against the wall. press your knees together as you squat but dont go too low. Also mild cycling on the exercise bike is good but dont put up the resistance. i really hope you feel better.
