What to do?

Just now I pay £40 a month for T-mobile's flexi 40. The contract ends at the end of May.

I want to cut down the cost, but I don't think it will be cheaper for me to go PAYG. I don't use my land line, so need loads of mins on my mobile to keep in contact with my care team. I do find the internet booster useful for when I'm in hospital.

Can anyone recomend a good deal for me please. My credit rating isn't great, so not sure another provider would have me. Thanks :)

Since you've already have a phone (and you're happy to stick with it!) check out the "Sim only" options for the networks.
They are at least 50% cheaper then the equivalent plan with a phone.

It's probably a bit easier to get a sim only contract (with a not great credit report!) since they are not giving you a new phone.

  • Thanks for that :) two questions if OK? Can I keep my current number, and if the phone was to break would I have to buy another up front? Thanks again :)

If you're happy with t-Mobile then they will just drop your contract costs to the equivalent Sim only costs and you'll keep the same number.
If you change networks you can port the number across.

If you break the phone it's up to you to get a replacement (since the phone is now yours).
If it's important to have a working phone 24/7 then check out some 3rd party phone insurance.
