Still feeling motivated so early start. DH just back from a weekends motor-racing so first load in WM. While the sun shines going to wash dog bedding and mow lawns with help from DD and DS. Then off to B & Q for my new loo seat. Might nip to Tesco for some BBQ bits and then I can relegate the cooking to DH.

    Morning everyone,

Thanks for the thread. It does help me keep on the straight and narrow a bit:) Something to aim for!

Not very good at keeping up with the thread. It grows so fast.

I will need to do a bit of flying as my very critical MIL is visiting today - she who runs her finger over the tops of my doors to check whether they are dusted. I just love it when DH invites her over:(

We have been very lucky with the weather over the Easter holidays, can't believe it's back to school tomorrow!! Usually the weather turns to good as soon as term starts!

    Happy birthday G&B
Happy bank holiday everyone, Silver x

Morning, and a Happy Birthday to GnB

Its bright and sunny here and I woke up when DH came in just after 630 so I am already brewed up, breakfasted and bathed. Just need to dry and dress now and then decide what to do next. Think I might have a go at the utility room and have a rearrange as you cant see the worktop in there for the kitchen gadgets that DH seems so fond of but rarely uses.

DS has a day planned at the beach and DD will probably not do anything again after gaining back her laptop after last weeks confiscation.

Right I have to go and rescue clothes before DH goes to bed.

Hope you all have a good day x

Mornin' friends old and new - JJ is sneaking back into the flylady fold.

After working full time for the council for the last 20 years I took voluntary redundancy last Thursday - so finally have no excuse for the state of the house (and it is horrific:eek:) I'm also hoping that all the extra movement that flying involves will do something for my fitness levels (was a desk job:D)

I have to get the house up to saleable standard as OH is currently commuting to Cleckheaton (175 mile daily round trip) so there is a move on the cards in the not to distant future. First job will be to paint the downstairs loo. (start small and work my way up:rotfl:)

It seems my first day will not be over strenuous though :j thanks pigpen.
