Congrats kazw... I hope you're walking to work tomorrow to celebrate :p

Hope your lump gets the same outcome as mine did nixie :) You're right to check though.

Did some gardening... went to the hospital and had to go back later for an ultrasound, so walked to the pub, had a drink and then sunbathed in a field till it was time to go back :) Consultant is lovely - I'm so glad the insurance company don't cover the one I saw a few years ago :o

    hello everyone :hello:

I was up at 6am and kitchen was attacked,

    floor done,
    worktops done
    tea pot decoked
    cooker clean and shiny

friend came round for coffee and brought a 'gift'
a sewing machine, when I got into it its about 1900's and a Friester and Rossman, the key is lost, so I had to pick the lock, it doesn't have a foot or a bobbin, shame as it works beautifully. The cabinet has lovely inlay patterns on it, so I spent the afternoon looking for cleaning and restoration tips and history of Friester and Rossman, which is quite interesting. I obviously need another sewing machine as I only have 5 already:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Just an update...OHs dad is on really strong antibiotics and has been seen by the doctors and consultants. OH didn't recognise him when he went in earlier, he walked up to the bed and walked away again thinking he had got the wrong room! Not good and still no one has spoken to him as he is asleep all the time due to the antibiotics. Should have some feedback soon but we are not very hopeful :(

    Aj big massive hugs honey.

    Plan for this evening.
    2) get joey cleaned out
    3) fix board on fence
    4) put some bags in the attic
    7) sort PS games out
    11) sort clothes for tomorrow
    13) get summer stuff
    14) move big plant pot round
    16) do list

Not looking too bad now, i think the rest can wait until tomorrow. I'm so tired today so think i'll head to bed early, might have a hot chocolate before i go and hopefully i'll get a better night's sleep.

    Tomorrow
    1) Bring library books back
    2) go to bank
    3) Rhys appointment
    4) visit shopping center and change games
    5) get watering can
    6) get something for big plant pot
    7) larrel hedge to be started
    plus other list.......
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

  • Kitchen still looks like a bombsite. I did start cleaning it when I got in from the market, but minion decided that, after doing the dishwasher, she would 'help' by sorting the clean washing into piles. Then dropping the piles on the floor as she had stacked them too high (no, I didn't complain - still in too much of a shock at the 'helping' to say anything). In the process, one of the cats got towels dropped on its head, she panicked and shot into the shower room, sending her dinner bowl skittling across the room to tip the water bowl over and then proceeded to take out five spider plants and 3 aloes that I had potted up over the weekend and were in there awaiting a light watering, scattering their contents all over the newly bleached shower room floor.

And she has tomorrow off school as we have to go to the [STRIKE]something-maxillary[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]facio[/STRIKE] hospital orthodontics specialist at the hospital because she needs braces, but they won't do it without the hospital's OK because of her hypermobility might be affecting her jaw development. And DD says she wants to be knocked out to have the couple of [STRIKE]fangs[/STRIKE] teeth removed they say might be needed to give room for the others.

Then she has one day at school before a long weekend with KH.

8 days of school in the entire month of April. Part timer.
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

    Evening all!
Finished listty, even the ironing, went to shops for fence paint for mum, then was inspired to come home and paint the garage! Have just had a bath and scrubbed all the excess paint off me, and dug several skelfs (splinters) out of my fingers from the garage and the very jaggy bushes up the side of it! Am now watching masterchef and will hopefully sleep well tonight, have a study day tomorrow so at least a long lie till 6!
    RIP Iain
