I'm tired tonight. Think I will be in bed after Masterchef. My MS took ages to submit. I'd reset my PC last month and didnt reinstall my blackberry stuff. I think it took me 2.5 hours to do everything. I'm only getting £6 for the flipping thing!

My day didn't go entirely as planned. DH was working last night, and we had promised ourselves some quality time ;) as we had the house to ourselves (working from home has its benefits:D). I was due to pick up from playgroup at 12 (ie start work). I then had a call from little one's mum to say playgroup was shut!! I said of course you can bring her now, then had to break the news to DH when he got in 5 minutes later, before he whipped his clothes off!! :rotfl::rotfl:

Anyway, got him to take us out for breakfast instead :)

As for flying, i managed to get quite a bit done this morning, including descaling the kettle before the school run. I will catch up on what i have missed later in the week (maybe!) especially the plastic tub cupboard as it is driving me mad!!

PS, DH did the food shopping tonight, so that's one less thing I have to do tomorrow :)

you'll be lucky to see me do my dailies this week!! I have just gone back to work after having two weeks off and i have two weeks until i leave that dump for good! I am so un motivated with everything at the moment. however, I DID manage to do a meal despite being at work all day and i even have stuff ready to do tomorrow. I may just get up off my bottom and do the dishes in a mo but dh is gonna be home and being the lazy so-and-so that he is, I will still be doing the school run and I will still be expected to do all the house chores while i wonder what he is doing all day?! i may try and leave him a chore list tomorrow but not holding my breath. lol

I'm back in. DH is off for 11 days and we are now at day 5. My access to the computer is restricted as he likes to play his football game. We have also been going out most days. Today we took my Mum for her first outing since breaking her hip in January and it went well. Tomorrow we are hopefully going to the zoo. Note to self check prices in future before promising littleys.

Dailies done, house is in a bit of a tip :(

Time for bed I think, didn't sleep too well last night so a bit tired now.

Governor's meeting went ok but I've been asked to join another committee which is going to involve heaps of work, that will teach me for researching too much and sharing the knowledge.

Need to shop for various things tomorrow so flying maybe limited to the dailies.

  • Can I join? A combination of full time work, illness, post holiday fatigue and not knowing any better have made my room a bit of a dump. I want to get my bedroom tidy, if that ever happens to an acceptable standard I might be generous enough to clean the rest of the house!

    This is my master list as I remember it just now;

    1. Organise paperwork
    2. Throw out miscellaneous paperwork (ie old leaflets, things that no longer hold any importantance)
    3. Clear out the eBay box and either put the contents onto eBay to be sold or get rid of them!
    4. Tidy bookshelf
    5. Completely remove everything from my wardrobe and scrutinise what should be in there, what can go and what needs to go elsewhere
    6. Rediscover the floor (harder than it sounds)
    7. Analyse clothes in wardrobe and dispose of as appropriate

I'm sure the list will be a lot longer once I think about it properly!
    Thank you competition posters!

    Evening all

Have done ok with dailies today, but that's it. I've frittered the best part of the last two hours away, avoiding a task for work that must get done tonight. I'm going to put the kettle on again in the hope that a cup of tea will get my brain going. Hopefully it turns out to be one of those jobs that you put off because you think it will take ages and then it doesn't.

Work e-mails while I wait for the kettle to boil, I think. I'm missing keeping up with the thread. x
