Is the Motorola V3 any good??

I am trying to choose a new phone for business use. I have read varying reviews about this handset and wondered if any money savers that may own this handset have any views on its usability.

I am not that interested in it's non-phone functions as it needs to be a usable business telephone first and foremost.

Any help would be appreciated.

I was at one time considering the v3 - i liked the look of it and as you say they non phone functions dont really come into it, but to be honest its a v600 (which i have)in fancy clothes with a much higher price tag so if your wanting the look and willing to pay the differance then its your call, as the time i looked at the v80 and v3 and on the same tariff the v3 was about £100 dearer which i couldnt justify and i liked the look of the v80 so went for that but basically all the motorola v series are good phones some just have a little differance but mostley cosmetic differances but camera wise all the same. I also had 2 faulty motorolas and the service center wasnt the best to deal with, they actually lost my brand new v80 and tried replacing it with a tatty second user one which has put me off motos, but I would recomend the samsung d500 which i think falls into the same sort of price range and i feel its a better phone 1.3 mp camera (better piccies) bluetooth mp3 ringers and has taken a few knocks and survived.

yes, had it but then sold it and got the D500, prefer that one much more, but the V3 is good though

some parts of the V3 phone are made of ceramic, tends to break easily on these if knocked
