Nah mate - the liverpudlian's was 100k mileage. however it had full le mans spec as these are. Are there any pics of the damage on your account at all and yeah lol stain on the back seat is odd for a company car seeing as though its usually single professionals driving them around lol? Cheers!

You posted quicker than me mate aha lol. You seem like you are pretty familiar with BCA so do you reckon you could let a newbie such as myself know what I will need in order to bid on a car and any entrance fees and the overall buyer, indemnity and total fees when purchasing a car of this calibre?

    Cheers mate

The fees for that will be very high for a private person.

There are signs just as you walk in the main door at Manchester, plus variouis small wall mounted signs near the Halls.

You could call customer services on 0844 875 3480 to ask them.

No pictures loaded yet of the stains, chips, etc.

Also, you'll need to get it collected/delivered, unless you can borrow some trade plates and pretend to be a dealer lol.

They will usually offer delivery for a (high) fee.

I can recomment I&J Transport. They do lots of private work around that area.

Would have asked them but their lines are shut till tuesday and thats when the auction date is :S - Might have to just wait this one out and just go to get a feel for it - delivery charges arent that bad for me. Only £56 including vat so thats not a problem as i live pretty close to manc.

Always best to have a look/watch and weigh things up if you haven't bought before from there. There's always lots of A6's going thru. That one was from Lloyds TSB Autolease, so would have been a decent enough car.

Sometimes when private people get involved in car auctions, it pushes the prices up to well over what its worth!

I remeber watching a BMW 530d M Sport a few years back making over retail money as two private men was bidding against each other. Both thought that "because it was at auction, it must be cheap..."

Haha - how much did it end up going for? Also are you able to see how much a car went for via live online as incase i cant make the auction it would be really handy to see the price of the car. Also i just saw that they only accept a max of 9 grand in cash - would it be possible to pay 9 grand in cash and the rest on my debit/credit card or will it all need to be via one method? Dunno if you would know about this sorta thing but I might aswell ask lol.

Cheers for all of your sound advice. very helpfull

P.S - the car im looking at is from Lex Autolease or are they one and the same? - reg no MW57SJV

Yeah LEX bought TSB AutoLease a few years ago, but I still call themLloyds TSB. If I'm sat at my PC on Tuesday when the sale is on I';ll let you know what it sells for. Assuming it gets past its reserve...

It'll be easier to pay for it all on your debit card. Credit cards get a small charge.
