Samsung Galaxy S on Talk Mobile

Talk Mobile are doing what appears to be a pretty decent deal for my needs with the Galaxy S - 300 minutes, 1000 texts and unlimited internet for £18.

Do you reckon this is a reasonable deal or are there similar/better ones out there at the moment? Or, with the Galaxy S II on the way, are there likely to be better deals around the corner on the Galaxy S and should I hang on for a bit?

£18 makes no sense without saying the length of the contract.

    Don't forget about TCB/quidco.

S2 will be much more expensive: 12x£20+£310 to pre-order currently at e2s.

Think you would get £55 cashback through Quidco for buying this deal direct from Talkmobile.

Yep, agme posted the link above - it's £18 a month on a 24 month contract which appears quite good. Does anyone reckon deals on this model could come down further when the S II is released?

I'm looking at similar deals. A potential problem with the "unlimited" data with T Mob (as with everyone except 3) is that is is limited - in this case to 1 Gb.

Dial-a-phone are advertising the Galaxy S2 on T Mobile - £29.99 for the phone and £25.53 rental for 600 mins, 500 texts and 500mb data. They are also advertising the Galaxy S - 600 mins 500 texts for £19.15, though this is by redemption and I have no idea what Dialaphone are like.

Alternatively, 3 have a similar deal as T Mob on the S1 - £25/month - 500 mins, unlim texts and 1gb data. Topcashback are offering £107 cashback on 3 which would make the monthly cost about £20 / month (so you're paying £2 for 200 minutes). Not looked properly at the cashback deal yet so I could easily be wrong on this.

My wife took up this deal. Cracking phone.. even if you are tied in for 24 months. Also got the £55 quidco, which makes it about £15.71 per month net.

She was on vodafone, but they just gave her the PAC code when she asked if they could match it.

Not very up to speed with Quidco but would like to give it a go. Pretty much decided I'm going to do this deal and I've got my PAC code from o2. If I bought the phone instore then could I still get cashback through Quidco or do I have to order it online? From what I can tell the talkmobile website won't let you transfer the PAC code, they can only do it instore or over the phone.
