I got a bit lonely, and I also get incredibly frustrated and ended up having a binge. So, as a result this morning, I feel utterly pants. Lots of water and I should be okay again, but I keep kicking myself and wondering why I do this to myself?!
Got quite a bit on today, so better get back to it.
Have a good day everyone, and positive vibes to everyone.
I had to treat it like 'going to work' and needed to wear shoes. I could work quite happily in pjs but not slippers - the mind is a very convoluted thing.
I've even heard of people leaving the house and walking round the block and back in again - so tricking the mind that they have 'gone to work'.
Don't knock yourself for finding it difficult and having a binge - we've all got our ways of dealing with stress and some are more destructive than eating.
Could some of it have been that it was scary exciting as you do want to leave the day job someday and this is one more step? But how can you know what you want till you get what you want and you see if you like it?0 -

:rotfl::rotfl: That's me :rotfl::rotfl: I am that wierd :rotfl: Glad to see you were paying attention there at the back though
Although now I am getting up at stooopid o'clock to write I draw the line at going around the block in my jammies, but now use the time coming back from dropping DS1 at the playgroup as getting my brain in work mode time.

Hello Girls
I have spent the past couple of days getting up to speed with this thread and feel like I know you all really well - I would like to join you if thats ok?
So a little about me- I am 37 years old and have 3 kids DS13, DS11 and DD5
- I am in Debt but like the rest of you try to focus my energies on attracting more money
- I work Full time and am also studying accountancy with the OU (Yes another one!) with a view to doing AAT in September - still not too sure at the moment though
- I love knitting, crochet and crafts in general
- I have read both 'the secret' and 'the power' and love Jack Canfield and have all his books,
- My relationship with OH is not good at the moment and needs work
- I am not happy working full time and have asked to revert back to 3 days a week from August (was only filling in on a temporary basis with a view to it becoming permanent, but I now know that is not the best thing for me at the moment) Whilst I will be very happy to get 2 days a week back, it now presents the problem of how I am going to find the £400 I will now be short each month
- I often feel like a rubbish mum - I don't spend enough time with my 2 boys and DD is always asking me to play and I don't give her the time she deserves because I am always too 'busy'
this makes me feel tearful and guilty
So thats mein a nutshell - Look forward to getting to know you all better

Well, I think it very likely to win the 'locked in strange and embarrasing places' competition (if there were such competition). I have been locked in toilets twice - once at 16.00 in the afternoon in a toilet at a working place mainly of men (so was getting ready to spend the weekend there) and once on a flight to Brussels. And I was travelling Business class and the plane could not land - because I was locked in the toilet. When the pilot earned his keep by breaking the door open (so he can land the thing) there was applause form every one on the plane. Not scary but makes up for embarrasing.

That is one of my fears getting locked in somewhere and not being able to get out,Boiler pot £30.92/£10000

I'm glad I'm not the only one with the toilets.. got locked in one on a train a few months ago and had to press the intercom thingy and say "erm hello, I'm stuck in the toilet"
.. and then I managed to get out and had to chase the train guard down the carriage going "it was me.. I'm OK now, I got out!.." :rotfl:

Please tell me you both took a bow a the end - that is priceless :rotfl:
Embarassing places to be locked in? A stick the sword in the Mummy trick - don't ask, please don't ask ............
.............. actually no, naked bar a too skimpy towel outside the hotel room door as I went to get my breakfast tray in. Not a good look in a Hotel full of Policemen :rotfl::rotfl: Did have quite an effort to build my credibility that afternoon in the seminar. You know the "imagine your audience naked" - well I'm pretty certain it was the other way around.:o
