DS2 is having a nap and DS1 has gone to Grandmas for a sleepover - so Eye Candy it is - LOL

Harrison Ford? Eye Candy? Are you willing to reconsider this one?

Good afternoon.
Been charity shop shopping for something to make lining on the bagsfound a pink double sheet, like new, for £1 so that will line a few, a lovely purple patterned pillow case 50p should line 2 bags, plus a white valance sheet £1 which should line a few bags too. A lovely denim skirt £1 and a navy blue cord skirt £1. So I think I will have enough bags now
once I have used all my donations
Parsnip???? have we a baby yet??Boiler pot £30.92/£10000 -
Afternoon all! Lovely day here again - MrEH has gone off for his weekend of prepping stuff for the Great British Beer Festival and I have nothing, absolutely NOTHING that I have to do - bliss!
Fantasia you sound a LOT more bright and cheerful now so hurrah for that!
Parsnip Baby Parsnip has been roasting away in that particular oven for quite long enough now - time to be served up!!
Cheri do make sure you are looking after yourself while you are working such a lot won't you? I am another by the way who was totally blown away by Mr Williams when I saw him live - what a fantastic show he does!
Daffs thank you for your words of wisdom about the takeaway - you are absolutely right and that is what I have done. Am well and truly back on track today! The shopping has been done - we had to go into town this morning to pay some money in - and popped into Sainsbugs while we were out - they helpfully gave me a £2 off when you spend £20 voucher which I used in Tesco about an hour later! Also popped to the market for a wander, bought 2 x 6 packs of walkers crisps for £1, two packs of Carrs crackers for another £1, a pack of 3 x razor blades for MrEH for - yes - £1 again, and a bag containing two new razor handles and 8 blades for me - I'm on my last Venus blade at the moment and although they do last ages on me (as I epilate my legs the razor only gets used for pits) I felt it was about time I stocked up and this was a good deal.
Food-wise so far today I nibbled on a couple of oatcakes for breakfast - I meant to have something more substantial but forgot, and realised when we got back from Town that my blood sugar had dipped enough that I was wobbly (the after effects of the takeaway last night I'm guessing!) so had those before I went any further. Lunch was a big plate of salad with a tin of tuna (Sainsburys - their Basics stuff is pole/line caught whereas Tescos - same price - Value isn't.) followed by a big bowl of fruit with some reduced fat greek yogurt. My five a day is pretty much done! (But will be topped up still further later on!) I've been thinking quite a bit more on the "food as a treat" thing..... one of the days we were in Cornwall we were having burgers for tea so had got those and the rolls to put them in.....some sachets of tomato sauce had been "liberated" from the pub we had lunch in....the subject of pudding came up and MrEH was in favour of cake "as a treat" - at which point I realised that actually, for me, a far better foody-treat would be a mango! So he had something gooey and sticky, and I had a mango, which was also quite sticky in a "juice all over the place" kind of way - and it was truly delicious! I need to remember that - treats come in all sorts of shapes and sizes and are not always the obvious things.
Now I'm off to Pippi's blog to see what she did about slitting and re-potting a supermarket Basil....🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

I'm afraid I don't *get* the Harrison Ford thing particularly. Mind you I have saved the Queen documentaries from last weekend to watch this evening - Roger Taylor Circa 1986.....now THAT is eye candy!🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡

I think Harrison Ford is gorgeous in Working Girl and of course the Star Wars Trilogy but he's a bit too craggy for my tastes now.
We are the proud owners of another tent. Just checked ebay and it looks as though we could have saved circa £50 buying new from ebay !!!!!!. Don't you just hate that when it happens. Problem is in order to decided which tent we needed we have to go to the store (Go Outdoors) and it's in Coventry so at least a 20 min drive away. Neither of us has mobiles that cope well with ebay so neither of us bothered to check, can't afford to waste petrol to-ing and fro-ing to the store etc. Am mightily peed off about ending up paying over the odds again <sigh> is this a sign that the Universe is telling us we are loaded and not to worry about the price of things <rollseyes>
Parsnip - I did a few jumps up and down on the spot to try and get DS started. I did have a small show so worth a try?Baby out vibes for you xxx It's sooooooo tedious waking up every day and wondering "is today going to be the big day" xx

OOh Eh, think I'll find them tomorrow and watch them. Were they on the Beeb or C4? I sat right behind Rodger Taylor when I went to We Will Rock You. He was such a handsome man then, and frankly isn't bad now. I quite like Harrison I have to say but I do like older men as a rule. Oh and younger men, maybe men in general!
