New home - broadband / phone line

Hi,
I'm moving into a new place on 28th April. There is currently no land line and so I won't be able to use the internet.
Does anyone have any ideas what the cheapest deal will be to have a land line installed (does this have to be done through BT, or do other companies do it?) and broadband set up?
I am quite new to all this, have had the internet for years but have always had someone else to sort out these parts until now!
Cheers,
Polly.

You can use any provider you choose, new line provisions start at about £80 upwards.
There is no overall 'cheapest deal', because broadband is exchange specific. Go to https://www.samknows.com and do an exchange search to see what LLU providers are available on your exchange, these will be the cheapest deals.
You wil also need to decide what level of broadband service you require, as prices vary according to this.No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
Thankyou ever so much!0

If you are in their coverage area 02 offer half price installs on new lines (£43 instead of £86) and you can get 6 months free BB if you are an 02 customer for 2yrs or more, plus a discount rate after that. Worth a look
CC limits £26000
Long term CC debt £0
Total low rate loan debt £3000
Almost debt free feeling, priceless.
Ex money nightmare, learnt from my mistakes and never going back there again, in control of my finances for the first time in my adult life and it feels amazing.0
