P Reg Vauxhall Corsa overheating intermittently - ideas?

  • I think the car is telling you it wants to retire. I'd listen to it and plan for a replacement.

    There is little point in taking this advice on this car.

    But when you get a newer car, try and service it a least once a year, it will save you money in the long run.

    Ask a male friend or relative to run you past how to check oil and water levels though, once you know how it will only take five minutes ones a week.

    The local College here des a vey basic course on car care. Which I think needs more advertising.

    It only coveres the basics like checking oil, water, wheel changes, bulb changes etc. but its well worth doing.
