Vodafone/Phones4u Lack of connection.

Went onto a Vodafone contract (24 mths) beginning of March this year - having been with 02 for years with no problem. I have nothing but bother since then. I find I loose signal where we live & it is really getting to me. I have the phone incase any of my kids need to get in touch with me & the lack of connection defeats this purpose. I was told at the time this was the best deal for me - being new to contracts I believed them...

I got the phone from Phones4u & wondered if there is anything I can do????

Any advice before I phone them would be great.

Cheers

You dont mention the which phone Phones 4U provided to you, but have you tried your SIM in a different phone to see if you still have the same problem. You could also get someone to try their SIM in your phone.

Do you find get a network problem in every location, or is it only at your home address ?

This process of fault elimination would help determine whether you could have a handset, SIM or whether there could be a network problem.

If you still have the same problem, at your home address, you may like to take a look at the Sure Signal which Vodafone offer. You will then get perfect 3G signal at your home.

Will send email jenny - thanks...

Ann S - I tried changing sims etc last night & it appears to be a vodafone issue. I have the HTC Desire phone. I will definately look into the Sure Signal, but feel let down by Phones4U....

    Thanks...

Regrettably, phone contracts are not like dresses - you can't usually buy one, take it home to see if it fits and then return it if it doesn't or you don't like it.

Some networks do allow you to do this from High Street shops, but Phones4U and CPW are independent stores.

Everyone should check out that the signal they get at home and work is sufficient for their purposes and should not have their head turned by either a shiny new handset or a cheap deal that doesn't deliver.
