HI
i have just been given a i phone 3g .
i have never had a smart phone before and am a bit clueless about them and contracts etc.

i only use my phone for 250 mins a month and 100 texts .
can i just use my o2 sim card for the new phone?
and will it conect to the internet and cost me a fortune ( as my currnet contact is 300 mins 300 texts and no internet
sorry for my ignorance about these phones

It will (unless you set it not to) and this may cost you a fortune.HAYDAN2002 wrote: »and will it conect to the internet and cost me a fortune ( as my currnet contact is 300 mins 300 texts and no internet
If you want to use internet, you need some sim-only tariff with internet included.
Consider:- http://giffgaff.com/goodybags/10pound-facebook-goodybag (o2)
- http://www.chitterchatter.co.uk/simonly.php (£10 12 months or rolling, t-mobile, free internet booster can be added after selecting a plan)
- http://www.three.co.uk/Pay_Monthly/SIM_Only/Choose_your_SIM (£10, SIM 300 - 12 month)

i just had a look at tesco online and for£10 i can get 250 mins and 500 mb on a rolling 1 month contact

It's O2, like giffgaff.
However, with giffgaff you'll get unlimited internet and calls to 080 numbers included for the same price.0 -

I would recommend tesco.
I have found the customer service to be excellent and network coverage is good as they use o2 network.
