How to dry slices of Orange

Thank you all for the different perspectives and helpful suggestions. Midnightraven's particularly appeals, on the basis that it doesn't involve using the oven at all - could I just ask how long they take to dry that way? (Obviously I have Christmas in mind!)Life is mainly froth and bubble

it sounds a right faff written down but its not, honestly
it takes a few mins
depends on where you hang them as to how long they take
an airing cupboard would be ok but i would leave the door, not tight shut to start with as it may be too hot there
i use where the "spaceship" for our solar panels are as its not just so hot
but i would most definately do them today/tomorrow to be sure
i do mine in the summer
they will be darker than in a dehydrator though
the single one is a lemon slice air dried
the rest are dehydrated
prays this iant massive
it looks awful there, but it isnt really
here they are on jars of lemon curd

I think if you dry them in a dehydrator then pick something like a blood orange
The colour comes out jewel like
If you want a more rustic look then air dry or slow oven is the way forward - much really depends on what look you want at the end...
Now where did I hide my dehydrator? HmmmDFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Officially debt free 2017 - now joining the MFW's!
