afternoon all
am most impressed by our wee group in so many far flung places! What you all talking about sun? Its bucketing here! Still, I couldnt be happier as it saves me lugging 6-8 watering cans to the garden twice a day
Couple of things annoying me today. Firstly, did Mr T shop online and it all of a sudden wont accept my card! Says its not valid (Cashplus Mastercard). Spent ages on phone to customer services but they said it should be fine so not sure whats going on. Second thing, on checking my statement, realise I get charged 99p each time I withdraw cash from it, despite paying a £5 a month fee! Grrr, must be more organised in using this new card.- use work comp to do tesco shop
- use work phone to phone tesco!!
- collect yoghurt I left in fridge for lunch tomorrow
- eat a couple of chocolates from the free bowl
- check emails and facebook - bit behind in catching up with people
- make sausage cassarole in slow cooker for tea and eat with potatos from the garden (last years)
- check on seedlings and sing nicely to them
- plant some lettuce leaves for the window sill

Och I got up about the same time but have not been so productive due to having a huge row (first for ages) with Ma starting @ 6.30 and only finishing about 8.30 so waybehind schedule
Today's list folks (some of this is run over from yesterday)
AM
* take library book back
* Tidy and clean kitchen
PM
* Don't forget nap
* Click sites (on going throughout day)
* start on bathroom & Menu plan
* Get new scaffolding
* Get envelope for S….
*?ebay bags should have done months ago
EVE
* typing tutor
* Let the boys out for a run
E
* Evening routine
very little has gotten done...Row didn't finish (till tomorrow *sigh*) till 3.30pm and I got new scaffolding in the middle. Walked home (more like charged....Was trying to get to the charity shop before it closed) and thought 'this doesn't fit'...panic mode. Couldn't take it back as it hadn't been fitted......It was in the sale and I must have tried on about 5 :eek:. Lesson learnt don't go to M+S for scaffolding on a Saturday...they are mobbed!!!!
So I cry and want to do myself in and think Ma doesn't love me (reality is even though we've sorted it out she probably still doesn't - she's that self centred but for now we're talking)
So sorry to hear about your bunnies perni...can be awful when stuff like that happens....can't you just leave one in the indoor cage and one in the hall whilst your out and try house training them (know it's possible)...sorry I have no better suggestions...Hugs...
So yeah...it's the end of the road for me and the Inde Scaffolding shop.... With M+S prices starting @ £7 for underwired and I don't know if P does fitting (and I don't know if I'd trust P's fitters) I'm sold.....they had really nice yellow ones for £12 but I am on MSE and DFW @ that...
Only snag was I then blew 9 of the spare £10 @ the £shop :eek:...got a roller for the hall for £1 and sunglasses and a few other bits and bobs (reading glasses - finally have my strength in :j)....can't recall what else
Also got a refund on my library book so that's a nice £17 in a few days
But now the harr is inand I'm hungry
so going to hunt for good ole rice and lentils....also have to find out what time Mr. M is closing tonight to get the bargains on the veggies

Good afternoon all. Been very stressed lately. I have a gambling problem that has put me in debt. I am addressing the problem, and feel debt free board is the best place for me right now for support.
So, today I:
Closed all my online gambling accounts
made simnel cake (better late than never)
looked at my bank account online (scarey but feel better now)
Was going to plant some veggies but it is now raining.
Bought the cheapest wedding acceptance card in the shop
Still to do:
Clean up kitchen
Tidy house (30mins to do all rooms)
[STRIKE]Water garden[/STRIKE] (as it is raining!)
Put dry Laundry away and repair trousers
Enter some competitions/do some surveys
Thank you for all your great posts - I have enjoyed reading them - I am not alone.Sept 2013 NSD 0/14 GC 0/£160 Flylady am 0/30 pm 0/300 -

Hey folks , I haven't been on here for a while but I am keeping busy !
Trying to get a bit more order in the house so lots of sorting going on.
Am revamping my bedroom in a very MSE way - have bought a floorpainting kit for £35 and a new bedframe bought with the proceeds of surplus stuff sold on Ebay. The paint I already had in and am revamping a bedside table I got off Freegle with stuff I already had in.
Garden is another project , it cost me £80 last year just to get the weeds cleared. This should be finished by tommorow and a freinds dad has offered me some plants to go in. Am rather pleased with myself as for the last 6 years or so I haven't 'done' gardening and I'm actually rather enjoying it.
My list of what I have done beside the above :- Small shop locally - got 'free' teabags with voucher from cometition last year.
- Posted ebay item.
- Scanned purchases on my return
- Entered coke zone points - these add up nicely
- A couple of surveys
- listed on Ebay and Ebid
- Not wasted food and chopped and frozen stuff that won't get used up.
- Lots of competitions
- checked online accounts - no suprises
- Gardening / weeding
- finish painting woodwork in bedroom
- look for surveys
- competitions
- good meal
- list and don't bid !
- check out freegle for useful items
- get organised for 10 hour shift monday and remember to take some food with me !
When it rains look for RainbowsWhen its Dark look for Stars0 -
Happy Easter everyone :j
Welcome mummymoo and good luck.
Today I will:- check e-mails
- washing out to line dry
- not go to shops
- go to sisters for dinner
- meal plan for week- very tight this week again car had service and MOT it passed thank goodness and DD2's birthday been an expensive week.

This is actually the 3rd time I've moved to a country where I've never been beforeI actually feel a bit ahead of the game since I already have place to live sorted, a job and a university friend who is living here. More than I had when I moved to London from Israel or to Israel from America (when I was just 16!). Carpe Diem and all that, will probably be doing it again in 2 years or so...
I should say that though im being a miserable cow on here, i do love this place already and am so excited to get to know it better.
Och compared to some folk I know your minor on the moans. No worries. It's okay to 'go down' but not 'stay down' if you get what I mean......Don't worry about not being settled yet - tis not for everyone.....Just enjoy the freedom and the challenges your life brings you ...Hugsdetermined_new_ms wrote: »hey mummymoo & welcome to the gang! Yeah well done you....dare I say it but the past few weeks I've just overcome (by the power of prayer and self control combo) an addiction. When I was manic (and when I got myself into the debt I'm still paying off) I used it every night I had the 'urge'...as I got treated etc it became twice a month and just dependant on hormones.....now I realise what damage it's done me never mind the other victims of my addiction....I was just listening to a radio programme online about it a few weeks ago and it hit me like a thunderbolt....
So here's hoping...You've taken a first step so that's good. Use whatever resources you need to overcome the gambling and like I've just said it's not going down that's the crime but staying down.. You can do it!!!
So yeah...hope no one is shocked by this revelation (to look at me you'd never think I was addicted to what I was addicted to but I was...I considered it worse than the cancer sticks and something I was so ashamed of. Couldn't even tell folk close to me).
Next addiction for me is the cancer sticks or the weight prob...don't know which one but knew I had to do the !!!!!! first....:)
Blessings

Morning All,
Determined – enjoy the sebatical (see you in a weeks time)
Sorry I didn’t get a chance to post yesterday…no excuses, it just didn’t happen
Yesterday and today I have/will do:
• Meals from stores
• Read paper online
• Checked online banking
• Will have an NSD – have only £5 in my account and this could go towards the car fund
• Fill in my food diary – didn’t do this yesterday (and ate very unhealthily)
• Drink plenty of water
• Take meds to sort out hormones!
• Check the little seedlings and make sure they are happy
• Need to sort out the mess that is the material mountain!
• Start making a pair of linen trousers for summer
Think that is about it – I am sure there will be things I have forgotten.
Have a fabby one!
