That's it. The end.
No house price crash in this lifetime.
Bears you lost. Over and out. Nothing left to say.
Expect to get a house party invite soon from somebody who will be telling you how much their house has risen .:rotfl:

Prices are likely to go up this year
By Daily Express reporter
THE housing market is recovering, figures from the country’s two biggest house builders suggest.
Prices are likely to go up this year as the number of sales increases, according to Persimmon and Taylor Wimpey.
Both companies said an increase in the supply of affordable mortgages was vital, however. Persimmon, the biggest builder, said it had reversed a poor start to the year with an “encouraging” number of prospective buyers.
Its order book stood at £1.14billion after new home reservations rose by 12 per cent.
Chief executive Mike Farley said: “It’s still a challenging market but those numbers are good and bring us back to where we stood this time last year

40% rises?
Wow that would be fantastic for me. I think it would be unfair on FTB's but it may be too late for them anyway. As we keep hearing the BTL people have the means to snap properties up. The housing market doesnt need FTB's anymore. Landlords just rent to them instead.
If property did rise 40% I would sell. I can actually see prices rising around 15% by the end of 2012.
Crashalistic?????
Timber??????

Isn't that really the same as a politician saying 'read my lips, no new taxes.'0 -
I see Sibley remains to grasp the ever widening gap between real & nominal values.
No understanding this lifetime for him.
Yet another micro Briton without a macro view.
Not quite in hamish's league though. The park keeper having now declared that gold & silver are hypothetical because he thinks you can't buy a house with them.0 -
