I'm still looking for the long fundamentals to support this Sibley.
Are you party to some hidden evidence?
I really would like to know before I buy back in.

C'Mon Sibley aren't you going to answer this? You keep saying prices will rise so where is your evidence to support this?

Or do you think that if you keep saying it every day over and over that it might just happen.

As for the housing market not needing FTB's......:rotfl::rotfl:

A round-up of the backed expert views provided by: http://www.thisismoney.co.uk/property-prices

Expert views: What next for house prices?

    • The CEBR has reversed its forecast that house prices will rise 1.2% in London next year and 0.8% elsewhere in England & Wales. It now says prices will fall 1.7%.

    • Rightmove says asking prices will slip in 2011 - predicting a 5% fall over the year

    • Howard Archer, chief UK economist at analysts IHS Global Insight, suggests prices will be 10% lower than their mid 2010 levels by the end of 2011.

    • Rics forecasts a 2% fall in house prices in 2011, but says property will not dip by more than 5%

    • Halifax and Nationwide predict prices to be flat in 2011

    • Hometrack forecasts a 2% decline in 2011

Mostly being small decreases or stagnation or using a Sibley approach:

It's all over for you landlords!

Game over. Full stop. No turning back. End of.

Too bad. FTBs win - you've missed the boat to sell out at peak.

Its all down from here over the next few years!!!!!

Admittedly landlords HAVE had a very good chance to get out and make a pleasing capital gains profit, before the downturn.

By hanging on, they will only have themselves to blame.

When the BTL mini-thug low-lifes on here have finally quelled free speech no doubt Blanchflower will be their next target.
