GRRR. Doesn't it annoy you how people feel that thay have the right to make comments on whatever they think, even if they are completely barking up the wrong tree??
The NHS has finished with me til Saturday night but I've now got to get the kitchen painted before the wall units are hung on Friday. I'd much rather do it this way that have to paint found them and risk getting paint on them, but the thought of it is
:(:(.
Will all be worth it in the end.

Yes it will be worth it. We asked our kitchen fitters to do the painting. Was well worth the extra £100

Have been painting the kitchen from 10-3 and my shoulders and neck are killing me
. The joiner and I worked round each other in perfect harmony as he joined and I painted
. It was so warm today that the paint dried quickly so most of it has had 2 or 3 coats. Will have to get v tall DH to do the bits that I couldn't reach even when standing on the top step of the stepladder and stretching in a very dangerous manner
. It's all coming together all of a sudden and should be finished by the end of next week.
I had to pay for the granite in full before they would cut it and although it's still a lot of money, it came in at £700 less than I had budgeted for as originally I chose a more expensive granite
:D.
Have kept a little list of every single kitchen related purchase so will know to the penny how much I have spent when it's finished. Then will smugly compare it to the outrageous quotes I got from the big kitchen companies!!0 -
I'm from Manchester and I know plenty of cow bags. They always hang around in herds at the school gates.:D
The kitchen sounds fabulous darling!:)I can't be bothered updating this anymore0
