My experience with the DWP is abismal- that is my experience- who are you to question it without the facts- judgement???

I'm not the one that, by your own admission, need to get a grip.
DMG 24 thinks that she can comment on whatever she wants but you are not allowed to comment on what she has written. If you do you are classed as a stalker! !!!!!!??

Oh my sweet, you have followed me round for months now. I was going to suggest that you put me on Ignore if you don't like my posts, but please don't, your little rambles do amuse me so! :p

They are inept- public servants with too many breaks- and who are the MANY people who have helped me on this fiorun- I have felt nowt but attacked from the moment I came here, but will keep coming back, as the people who thinh they own and patrol this forum do not.

I don't care how many negative people/responses I get, because. what you all don't realise, is, that, behind all the negative comments, stalking DMG, are loads of nice PM,s. I say again civil servants are inept, under trained, highly expectational- and my parents have the most massive pensions for working minimum years. And now it's me care for em or the state takes it!!!!! You choose!!! I can live of nothing if it makes sure I do the right thing for my parents.

I love the nearly new audi I drive around in- WORK THAT OUT DMG!!!

    Quoted for future reference.

Have I missed something with these posts, this topic makes very little sense to my untrained eye.

OP I dont understand how boasting about your choice of car adds anything to the debate (such as it is).

OP - I find your attitude quite offensive, especially in conjunction with your other thread.

Many of the so called DWP employees you call inept are regulars on this board who go out of their way to offer advice and support.

I'm just very confused by it all...but maybe that is the sunshine.
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Do what I do, ignore DMG24 and the hanger on's. (You will know who they all are they always say they agree and press the thank you button to everything each of them says.) Up to now I have about 7 on ignore Just press the button. It goes awfully quiet and the posts become more mature!

A stalker and indeed 'unhinged' with psychopathic tendencies - that was the response I got from her 'hangers on' for having the audacity to question and justify an 'opinion' of me.

It is quite pathetic really, but one should feel a degree of sympathy fo someone whose life revolves around this forum - a very sad existence indeed.

I'm not sure what the question was here, but as an ex DWP employee, I'd like to make a couple of comments.

I would agree that SOME staff at the DWP are inept, but by no means all of them.

(Mind you, some claimants are inept/inaccurate/illilerate as well - the state of some forms sent in has to be seen to be believed.)

Over the last few years, it was decided, in the DWP and The Revenue, to get rid of many permanent staff and employ contract staff (so they don't have to pay holiday pay etc.). This has led to many untrained people being let loose on benefits.

There is also the point that the rules constantly change (especially in the last year) with the government saying they will be doing this, that and the next thing (midst great media fanfare), and then backtracking/changing their minds/reviewing/altering. :wall:

As for the comment...."public servants, too many breaks"........I have worked for a lot of firms, public and private, and I can honestly say that I worked for the DWP, in a local office, it was one of the most demanding jobs I've ever had.

Lunch and tea breaks were unknown to me - the pressure was relentless, the system was chaotic, the computers went regularly into meltdown, and everyone (staff and customers) ended up hacked off.

And, I won't even go there with dealing with the many 'customers' who seemed to think that threats, abuse and violence towards the staff was the best way to get their claim sorted out........

    Lin ;)
You can tell a lot about a woman by her hands..........for instance, if they are placed around your throat, she's probably slightly upset. ;)
