Can someone help me with this?

how can I disable emails on my blackberry 8520 while on holiday abroad?

It will cost me a fortune if I leave them enabled as I have linked my normal hotmail account to my phone.

Please note I have only had the phone a week so be gentle with me lol.

    Go into tools, network and connections, mobile network and then turn off data services. You will then only have phone and texts.

    As above poster or go into your BIS and go filter > do not forward messages to device.

    My service provider (O2) used to have a bolt-on for Blackberry use abroad. You can always check with your service provider to see if they have the same.
