Hi everyone, been on a 24 month contract with my Nokia 5800 (which I love) and it runs out on Wednesday.
Have had my heart set on a N8 for ages but after reading some reviews online, now I'm not so sure. I've always had Nokias but don't know whether I'm ready for a change.
Been to O2 shop this morning and looked at HTC HD7, N8 and Iphone 4. These are the 3 I have now narrowed my choice down to.
Has anyone got these phones, and in your opinion, which do you consider the best, and worst? Any comments would be helpful, thank you!

For me, out of those three iPhone 4, if you want to add Android to the mix, maybe try Desire S or Incredible S?0

hi miniemma, I love it too! David looks so mmmmm in that picture!!
Thanks for the opinions guys, is android any good then? I know that the hd7 has a windows os, is android meant to be better?
As for the iphone, I like it in principal, dont like the fact that im tied to itunes through it though, if you know what I mean? You're so very special, I wish I was special :dance:0 -
Hi, personally I recommend the Samsung Galaxy S and the Nokia N8.
The Samsung is one of the best Androids at the moment and as the S2 is coming soon the S is available on some great deals.
The Nokia N8 has the best build quality and camera available at the moment.( My preference )
Depending on your tariff requirements they are available as low as £20/month with the phone free and don't forget quidco and topcackback for extra cashback.
The week before last they were available at TescoMobile, with phone free, for £20/month and 750mins/5000texts and 1gb data and £35 quidco cashback, gone now but keep an eye open for the next special offer.0 -
Samsung Galaxy S2, I've pre ordered and it's by far the best phone yet this year. Dual core 1.2ghz... latest Android...0

Apple release a new phone once a year (supposed to be June but may be september this year), others release them every 3 months or so, so whatever you buy may be the "best ever" for a few mnonths but there wiull always be something replacing it before long. Although all phones mentioned are good in 6 months time they will all have been replaced as the respective companies latest and greatest model.
Each OS has it's good and bad points. What you really need to do is think what you want out of the phone. The iPhone may be tied to iTunes but thats the biggest app store, chances are you'll get apps for everthing you need.
The HD7 is tied to Microsofts Store, and the Android to Googles marketplace so it's not as simple as the iPhone being the only one tied up.
Is there anything you specifically want to do with it.0 -
I wouldn't bother with an N8, I used to work for a major phone company and we had nothing but issues with them.Have I helped? Feel free to click the 'Thanks' button. I like to feel useful (and smug).

Hi MissKeith, there has always seemed to be an issue with new Nokia phones as soon as they come out , as soon as the software is updated most problems dissappear. I have a Nokia N8 and keep the software updated and have had no problems or issues. Some customers want spoon feeding and are too quick to take the phone back to the shop or send it off to a repair centre before trying an software upgrade.0
