1 month today since BR, we have had our Nil Tax Code IPA through.

We made an offer to buy the BI in our house but they responded in teh negative stating they have 3 years to deal with the house and will look for the best deal for the creditors. So, I presume, they will be waiting for a housing boom then hit us with selling the house?

    Kept the car

Waiting for details of our IPA proper, not sure how long that is likely to take to come through?

    Phone calls have petered off

If it wasn't for the house thing hanging over our head then I'd be totally relaxed, just niggling away now.

Just wanted to pop on a quick update. IPA is agreed just for tax, car is exempt. Best six hundred pounds I ever spent. I just want to thank everyone whos helped me, some of whom may not even know it as reading thier stories helped. Most of all thanks to MSE, this website is an invaluable resource.

  • Three months to the day almost and we just received our IPA proposals. They want £350 more than our SOA said we had as surplus.

Some negotiations are about to commence.
