Concerned with Food Bargains as it appears the hackers have returned. Keep getting this message:

    Reported Attack Page!

This web page at www.foodbargains.co.uk has been reported as an attack page and has been blocked based on your security preferences.

That was dealt with promptly & the site is back to normal now.

Paul said he has been completely blocked from the Approved Food forum and made it clear that he wanted nothing to do with it when he left working there. So how could he have/wanted to re-register? Ive been on there a few times and its the same people writing posts over and over again, nothing special if im totaly honest.

He seems a friendly and genuine person and i have not had any problems with him or my orders. Merrywidow, i recall you having a fit with swinco because there was a delay with your order during the adverse weather. You where being abusive on the phone and slandering his company on the forums. Why do you continue to do so? If your not happy then thats your problem, its been dealt with and get over it. There are 1000s more who are obviousy happy with him. Id have nothing to do with you either Widow.

The real reason Paul (the owner of Swinco) was banned from the AF forum is published on the AF forum here for anyone who is interested.

Sharon, Julie.. promoting your own posts on AF forum on mse, is this not braking the rules? There is obviously a bigger underlying reason why particular users are blocked from that forum and it is becoming bias and one sided. That is why I and many other usershave left the approved food forum because of this and the pointless tripe you both continually spout out on there.

Thank Martin and the mods for the mse forum. I dont know where i would be without it!

But was it dealt with properly? Still raises site safety questions and what the hackers managed to steal from the site. Still concerned that my personal details are vulnerable here :(

Firstly my name is still not Julie nor is the name of the approved food forum member you have me confused with named Julie, it makes no difference how many times you claim that is my name it will not be true.

I am not promoting my own posts on the AF forum I provided a link to a post made by a moderator on AF which explained the reasons you were banned from posting there, unless you are now claiming that I am also the moderator on the AF forum then I fail to see why you think I am linking to my own posts.

You are partially correct when you say self promotion is against MSE rules but it is a little more specific than that, it is against forum rules for a company to promote themselves by posing as a satisfied customer.

Evidently this rule is not always enforced though.

I see all the crap towards Paul has come back(by the way im not him) again and it needs to stop.

There is a lot more important things going on in the world then chucking abuse towards people who can not get onto the forums anyway.

He has not been posting ok there are people from other sites making out to be him for there own gain.

people Grow up and stop this silly behaviour as we are not in the school playground.

We are adults and show act like a adult.

    Hi all,
Just getting to grips with the new SWINCO blog feature on the website. We're going to publish specific blogs on:
    • Ex Customer Blacklists and Current Customer Bans
    Many Thanks
Interesting stuff that reading some of the stuff about the young owner of Swinco especially what he may put on this Blacklist blog of his site which includes the above has put me off using Swinco and I think it will others too its not really the way to operate a business threatening to run blacklists of ex customers if they are not happy , post questions or shop elsewhere etc .

He may use the excuse on other forums now that it was other people pretending to be him but he posts just the same on his own website , still threatening to run a blacklist of customers , its him alright a very very strange attitude imo .

The young guy seems to think he is a gangster above the law or something and he has little or no knowledge of data protection reading some of the items he has posted elsewhere .
There are things you can do of course if he posts customer details on a blog and he is going down a very very dodgy path even threatening to do those sort of things to curtail customer problems or complaints.

I think its good that people are informed of what this guy could be like if you have a problem , is it really worth getting involved with a company like that for the possibility of saving a couple of quid
Everyone should remember surely recently much much bigger companies than Swinco have been hacked and with this guy threatening to post a black list of customers details its clear he has not got a clue about data protection act , how could your data ever be safe there never mind one foot wrong and he bans you and holds a grudge .

He seems to have a very big chip on his shoulder about something or other and has a very strange gangster type of attitude more suitable to a guy running a dodgy security service on a door at a rough disco than a friendly bargain shop very few people skills never mind customer PR .

Surely shopping sites / forums should point out things like this as well as bargains , he seems a guy too watch , he may be getting himself the wrong sort of press coverage , you should respect your customers not threaten them with what may happen should they step out of line with a question or other problem , god forbid you are overcharged or something.

Very very bizzare thing for a company to post on their website and should it include anyone's personal data Swinco will find themselves in a great deal of trouble , even if its just a threat its a very very childish thing to put on a business website in my opinion.

    Swinco
is not a company Id trust with my personal data at all as someone else has already said how can you trust a company that has such disregard for the data protection act and makes threats that are in breach of the act should they carry them out , banning customers for being dissatisfied with service and posting them on a blog in a blacklist is one of the daftest business idea Ive ever come across .

and he has a Uni degree in business studies , or maybe his about me and Swinco page is full of rubbish :D

Interesting stuff that reading some of the stuff about the young owner of Swinco....
The thing which intrigues me on the about me page is the fact he says he is currently unemployed yet he is somehow running swinco & has another company which has been trading on ebay for quite some time. He is the only unemployed person I have ever come across who can manage such a thing.

He also makes references to working closely with the owner of Crags Cash & Carry/Approved Food & building up the business but a quick google search for the phrase "rate your picker paul swiny" (only the google cached copy is available to view the original page has been removed as he no longer works there) suggests his role was as an order picker whilst he worked there which IMHO is not quite such an important position as he suggests.
