Arguement with Sky!!

I took out a new membership to sky with the £100 m and s vouchers on 21st March. They cancelled my membership as an error. They are now saying that I can not have the original deal and have to take out HD+ which is on offer now but wasnt part of the conditions then (although they are saying that it is!)
Can anyone help me? I dont know what to do next other than having this arguement with them that they are not honoring the original terms of the agreement.
they have now told me that someone listened into my call and that because of that I am wrong and they are right!

Has anyone else had this problem.

very frustrated!

  • I forgot to add that they re-instated my account on the 4th April and told me to write to their customer care department as the telephone sales people could only offer me £50 M&S vouchers and £50 credit which I declined.

I am now holding on the line (10mins!!!) for them to see if they can get me the terms and conditions from that time which they say state that I had to take out HD+ (it didn't!)

ive just give my 31 days notice to cancel sky.... had enough of the problems with them (dodgy boxes, cabling, lnb, etc, etc, etc).. final straw was the box freezing at least once a day for the last week or so....

the lady tried to talk me into staying, but was adamant that i was leaving.... gonna take a few days to weigh up my options and decide which way to go now..... all i gotta do then is wait until Feb 2012 and i can get rid of sky totally...... move phone and broadband away from them... :j

the original offer was for sky+HD including the HD subscription, therefore in order to recieve the vouchers you would need both the biox and additional subscription

Why wouldn't you just accept the £50 M&S vouchers and £50 credit? The £50 is like cash and a lot more desirable that vouchers. If you really want to spend £100 at M&S then use the £50 cash you'll save from having the credit...

...And since a lot of people (including me!) have never received their vouchers -take the cash!!:j
