Unlocking a Vodafone payg BB phone to use an 02 payg sim card

Hi i want to use an 02 sim card on my vodafone locked bb pearl 9105 3g phone
when i put the 02 simcard in, it asked for a MEP code (10 digits)

what is this and how do i get the code?

once i have the code, once its entered is that all that is required to unlock the phone??

First ask Voda if they will give you the code for free.
If they don't then, depending on how much they want you can try buying the code cheaper in the internet.

I think after entering it you will unlock the phone and can use it on any network.

i will say you have to follow the instructions to the letter

Just used the above link, went the paid route as I needed it quickly but worked out £1.83 which is loads cheaper than lots of places, so thank you!
