Here's another vote for EL DW.

I'll only buy EL and Guerlain now as I've wasted so much money on foundations, including mineral.

Their website do a colour match but you can't beat going in store to try various shades.Always ask for samples too. I never buy full size mascaras and the free concealer and mascara offer now on is brill.

I'm a pale brunette and go for DW Light - Intensity 2 and for the DW liquid and powder - Fresco....sometimes Pebble. If I need a bit more coverage and more of a matt finish I use the compact over the Light.

I've just purchased Futurist in Blonde for £4.50 :T:T:T which is very nice, but £3 more than the DW. This gives slighty more coverage than the Light and a dewy finish so I don't need the powder. Very impressed.

It's really worth joining the Debenhams Beauty Club and applying for their card because I had £20 in points and a voucher for £4.

MSE advice: Never use Debs card for credit. Use the card for discounts and then once the transaction has gone through pay it immediately in cash or debit card.

Another thumbs up is Guerlain Aqua Parure ( No3 is my colour). This is beautiful, goes on wonderfully well and when applying it feels very refreshing and cooling.Use for special occasions only as it's in the £30+ bracket.

Wow: £35.50 in House of Fraser but on offer here for £28.48. P&P £1.95:

Telling myself I don't need anymore.

PS: EL mineral foundation is pants. I exchanged it.

I also don't think the 'cheaper' foundations you find in the likes of superdrug et al are all that cheap anymore nor as good as the premium lines.

Mind you I've never got on well with Lancome as it brings my skin out and I'm not fussed on Clinique, Dior, Clarins, Elizabeth Arden ( who ever pays full whack for EA?). Chanel of course is lovely but I think EL has the edge.

Smashbox is ludicrously expensive ( tried the Halo...the brush is nice) and MAC is hyped up. IMO their foundations are not that good. Plus the fact their staff are rude.

    My skin care is:

AM:Germaine De Capuccini 500mls cleansing milk via eBay Australia used with LE muslin cloths...great deal
Cheap rose water by Fudco -can be used in cooking- via eBay
GDC Day cream( eBay again). Not that fussed and will be trying Coryse Salome next via cheapsmells.

PM: Smashbox oil, although I'm using Nars at the moment ( again all on eBay) then the GDC cleasing milk, rose water and GDC night cream...this is rather nice, but won't be purchasing it anymore.

Just wanted to say thanks to those that helped me and post a little update - I went and got colour matched to the EL DW last week, but even the consultant couldn't decide between shades Bone and Shell so gave me a sample of both to try. The shell is a better match, but like another poster warned it has brought my skin out in spots - and I was definitely careful to cleanse thoroughly as mentioned by others. So, I've gone for the ivory in the Revlon colourstay and it's so far, so good :D
